Hello thank you for stopping by, let me introduce myself I am Aklex and this is my first writing project I gave myself. In order to better my writing I have taken on the task of writing a fanfiction about RWBY with a few minor tweaks and details that will be explained later. I will try to update as much as I can within a certain time period. If I don't like it I won't upload it, that's the rule I will post by.

Legal Disclaimer: I do not own RWBY

The world passed in a blur around him as he ran through the forest that had welcomed him so.

Ducking under low hanging branches and pushing through the dense brush he hurried as fast as his legs would move.

He was dressed in a black hoodie with white trimmings that were located on the mouths of the pockets and ran up the stitching. He wore grey cargo pants with the ends tucked into his black combat boots. The left side of his hoodie was torn and the stitches were stained red. He had short brown bangs and soft pink eyes.

The green brush parted to his movements and a trail of red stained leaf and soil was left in his wake.

The open wounds on his shoulder dribbled warm blood that flowed down his left arm, where his shoulder would be were three large gashes that exposed bone; the pain was excruciating, and with every step it's burning agony grew.

The Ursa responsible pursued close behind only being hindered by its size. Its pitch black body moved with efficiency and its blood red eyes never left its target.

Slamming into trees and barreling through the brush the creature pursued the young boy with only one intention; the only one the Grimm had, to kill humans.

Burning pain radiated from his arm and his legs; he knew he could not continue for much longer, and with that thought in mind he entered a clearing.

A singular tree stands in the center, alone in the dense forest that surrounds it, only accompanied by the thicket of grass that surrounds it.

The tree was something of one you would see in a mangrove, its tangle of roots hoisting it in the air.

Its leaves shined in the sunlight, glimmering as if made of silver and the grass that surrounds the tree was nothing short of a field of amber

He dashed through the field and slid under the tree; his legs had given out, and he tumbled to the ground and underneath the roots.

He scrambled further into the web of roots. turning to watch the treeline. His eyes welled up, and the tears ran down his face.

"How did this happen?" he said to himself in disbelief, suddenly memories flooded his mind. He remembered the trivial things in his life; he remembered his name was Aiden Ferro and that he was ten years old.

He remembered that his mother and father both ran a well-known restaurant. He remembered his dream of becoming a famous huntsman and getting all the candy he could ever want.

But through all of that one thing stood out, how he got into this situation in the first place.

END

Well folks that's the end of the first chapter, hope you enjoyed. I know I know its really short but I have to start somewhere. Please stay in tune for the next story!
