(a/n This is probably the SHORTEST one-shot I have EVER written. But, yeah my friend & I were talking, and she gave this like one-shot challenge thing where I have to pick one character from a movie/book/tv show to write sixteen different one-shots about. So, I picked Hanna Marin (from PLL) So, this is the first one! Enjoy!)
Hanna watched as Caleb walked past her and toward her front door.
She knew she should've at least said something like, "Leave." Or "Have a safe trip," But, she felt numb. She couldn't even wipe the tears that were now streaming down her face. She bit her lip, trying to stop herself from letting out a tear-wrenching sob.
She knew that if he wouldn't have brought down her walls, the walls she so carefully put up in the last three years, she would've felt nothing when he slammed the door shut. But, because he had broken through her walls, when he left she felt heartbroken, numb. But, if she was being honest to herself, she would rather feel heartbroken then betrayed. The feeling of betrayal was not an emotion Hanna wanted to feel anytime soon.
She felt herself slip down the wall. She wanted everything to go back to how it was. Before she met Caleb, before he even talked to Jenna. Back to how it was supposed to be.
She wanted to be free of A, free of this small voice in the back of her mind that says she should run after Caleb, give a huge kiss and tell him to stay in Rosewood. But, Hanna just couldn't do that.
He had betrayed her, and she will never forgive him for that.
