Driving
The Jounin Exam has arrived in Konoha, and Kakashi offered himself to drive everyone there, but Naruto whom now was old enough to drive, wanted to rent a car, however, Kakashi didn't trust Naruto enough to drive a car, so he told Sasuke to drive with him, and Sakura would be with Kakashi because she was wildly complaining about NOT going to be in the same car as Naruto... ... and they decided to meet at the stadium together.
They got into the car an hour before Kakashi and Sakura, and left, suddenly Sasuke leaned forward and started checking out the glove apartment.
Naruto: "What are you searching for, Sasuke?"
Sasuke: "My mind?"
Naruto: "No, seriously."
Sasuke Uchiha rummaged around in the glove compartment some more.
Sasuke: "Do people ever actually keep gloves in here?"
Naruto: "No, and you didn't answer the question."
Sasuke: "You know, I don't know how I feel about you driving."
Naruto rolled his eyes.
Naruto: "That again? Well, if you'd hurry up and get your license then the next time we rent a car maybe I'll let you drive."
Sasuke: "I don't see why I have to get a license, you don't have one. We could have just gone with Kakashi."
Naruto: "Come on! Why aren't you enjoying the freedom of the open road?!"
Sasuke: "You're behind the wheel. The tolls are expensive. Gas is expensive. The car is expensive. Did I mention you're behind the wheel?"
Naruto: "Okay, okay! I got it already. Sheesh, do a guy a favor. You could've just let me drive by myself."
MutteringSasuke:And let you kill yourself?"There's no point in that."
Naruto: "Huh?"
Louder.
Sasuke:"On the train we could study for the first part of the exam."
Naruto: "We can still study in the car."
Sasuke narrowed his eyes.
Sasuke:"That would be fine if I weren't worried about your inability to concentrate on driving. We're right next to a CLIFF if you hadn't noticed."
Naruto: "Where's your confidence in me?!" Teasingly. "I think you just want to drive."
Sasuke:"Don't be ridiculous. Aha!"
Naruto: "Found your mind?"
Sasuke:"No."
Naruto: "A compass? We're not going camping."
Sasuke:"I thought the sun was wro- Uh, Naruto?"
Naruto: "Yeah?"
Sasuke:"Aren't we supposed to be going Southwest?"
Naruto: "Uh… Uh-huh?"
Raising their voices.
Sasuke:"Then WHY THE HELL are we going North?"
Naruto: "Well, SOMEONE must have sent us wrong, good thing the exam's tomorrow!"
Sasuke:"You have a MAP!"
Naruto: "Aren't YOU the navigator?!"
Sasuke:"I TOLD you to go left past that gas station!"
Naruto: "Well . . . Lessee, I wonder where I can make a U-turn?"
(Sidenote: Reminding Naruto about being on a cliff..)
Sasuke:"I really did lose it."
Naruto: "I thought you just found the compass?"
Sasuke:"No, I meant my mind."
Naruto smiled.
