Snape walked into the Great Hall with his, normally, greasy, black hair, usually, bubblegum pink. Sirius Black and James Potter, two fifth year Gryffindors, burst out laughing at this. Snape stuck his abnormally large nose in the air and stalked towards the Slytherin table at the other end of the hall.
"Didn't he look ridiculous!" James laughed, turning to high-five his curly haired friend. A small, chubby boy sat close to James and chuckled softly.
"It was brilliant James," he squeaked, looking up at James with something akin to worship. Sirius nudged James.
"Be careful James, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes down on his knees and starts praying to you soon," he whispered. James burst out laughing but was silenced by the stern look from the final member of their 'elite' group.
"You two are completely pathetic, I mean really," Remus said quietly. Sirius' face fell, Remus always laughed at their pranks. "Bubblegum pink! You should have gone for rainbow!" Remus laughed and the others quickly joined in.
"We'll remember that for next time!" Sirius said loudly. "I personally, think we did quite well though, he really does look ridiculous!" Unfortunately Professor McGonagall walked past just as he announced this.
"Do you know what I think Mr. Black?" she asked quietly. Sirius turned, eyes wide. Professor Mcgonagall looked down on him from her great height. He swallowed visibly.
"No I don't know what you think Professor McGonagall. Could it be that we are your four favourite students and that you think that what happened to poor Mr. Snape was absolutely nothing to do with us?" he said, smiling up at her.
"No Mr. Black, that was not what I was thinking. I was thinking that you two," at this she pointed to both Sirius and James, "are troublesome and just out to cause more problems, that I have to deal with, and that you both deserve detentions every night for the rest of the week." She walked away slowly, her robes sweeping behind her.
"I can't believe you got us detention because you can't keep your mouth shut!" James snapped at Sirius. "Just when I was almost there with Lily as well." Sirius let out a sharp bark of laughter.
"You are always 'almost there' with Evans, but that never gets you anywhere, does it?" Sirius laughed. "Anyway, I should be the one that's annoyed." James snorted at this.
"What the hell have you got to be annoyed about?" James asked with a laugh. Sirius shot a glare at him.
"I'll have hardly any time to spend with my boyfriend, of course!" Sirius said, shaking his head.
"Maybe you should of thought about the consequences before you did it then Mr. Black," Remus laughed before leaning in to press a quick kiss to the edge of Sirius' lips.
