Summary: Tess is Thinking again. Companion to Dreaming Sweet Dreams.

This story is dedicated to DramaticStarlet. For helping the stick emerge from the mud.

Disclaimer: I don't own it.

Tess lies, once again

on her sheets

staring at the blank wood ceiling

In the early morning hours.

o

Back to Thinking

about a certain girl

Whose name has been

Soaring

Around her head

o

A girl who she could

Manipulate

Control

Blackmail, possibly

Into giving Tess a chance.

o

Futilely, Tess wishes

occasionally

that she could

have Her

kiss Her

make Her scream

o

Because She is

Perfect

Well, maybe just a little

dented

But for Tess, it's a step above

Broken.

o

Tess fantasizes as she

Thinks

About how good it would

Feel

to let Her embrace

all the holes,

Connected by the fault lines

that make up who she is.

o

To allow Her wholesomeness, Her

unBroken self to

Seep in and reach past

the sharp, jagged edges and fill

All the little cracks and fissures

o

The dawn creeps into

the tiny cabin

casting a rosy, golden glow

Illuminating the occupants

o

Mitchie is snoring softly, and looking

Perfect,

as usual.

o

Tess itches to brush

The stray hair

off of her gorgeous face.

o

Instead, she heaves over, tangling herself in her sheets,

to stare at the blank cabin wall.

0

Tess knows that Mitchie is the

One thing she can never

touch.

o

Because to allow someone so unBroken to be with her

Means to shatter them.

Alright, the perfectionist in me is screaming not to post this, but I'm gonna give it a shot. What do you all think? Serendipity545. (Hint: I appreciate reviews.)
