A Boy In The Ocean (This story is based off of a DeviantArt photo I submitted)

The ocean's waves were harsh, especially at the early evening. No one dared to go delve inside the blue monstrosity, hiding many creatures of the day, all expect for a boy in a yellow shirt with black green shorts, who, at the same time happened to lose his sister's necklace. He was supposed to give it to her as a gift, however, he lost it when he was surfing earlier in the morning. The boy in yellow shook his head softly, his mind propositioning that this was a bad idea and his heart saying that he had to do this, nonetheless, he went into the ocean. The water surrounding him was almost freezing, slowly biting away at his very fragile existence. It was also very misty, he could barely see anything, not even the mini fishes

gently nibbling on his feet. "Oh, this is a idiotic thing to do…" The boy groaned as he held his breath and dived into the water. His vision was blurry, courtesy of the salt and sand, but he did see something shiny, so he followed it, little did he know it was just a small piece of tin foil, leading him to a rather large eel, it had one eye, mostly likely losing it from a previous battle with another sea monster. The color of the eel was a deep shade of purple, it's belly was colored a dark yellow. He was panicked he didn't know what to do, he had never encountered a real life eel, slowly backing away from the intimidating creature that eyed him with its big marvelous blue eye. He need oxygen and he couldn't surface to get some air not with that thing in front of awaited patiently, the eel still did not swim away. Just then, he saw several fishes swimming by, the eel locked it's gaze on them, it swam away from the boy.

The boy sighed in relief, he was lucky he didn't get his thumb or toes bite off. Knowing he wasted most of his time, the child surfaced the ocean and inhaled deeply. The Ocean's water was much more cleared up now. Feeling bad, that he wasted most of his allowance, and the fact he couldn't give his sister her present. He got up and was ready to leave, until, he saw a diamond-shaped, sky blue colored object attached to a brownish-string. He quickly dived into the ocean and grabbed it. Smiling from victory, he placed it into the pockets of his pants and walked towards the shore. He went back to his home, awaiting his sister to come back from work. "What a day." He said exhausted. The next time he was going to go to the ocean, he reminded himself to bring his fishing gear out. That is if there was a next time.
