I woke up that morning to the smell of pancakes. Pancakes are my all time favorite food, right up there next to chocolate tacos and pudding. But I mostly only like pudding because of my favorite dream, the one where that lemur feeds me chocolate pudding. It's a pretty awesome dream, you should have it some time. Once I was awake I jump out of bed, and fell to the floor because I forgot that I slept on the middle bunk bed. The crash I made while falling from my bed woke up Joe who rolled over and fell out of his bed and the crash that he made when falling out of bed made Nick wake up, but since he sleeps in that hole in the floor its impossible for him to fall out of bed. Lucky.

I got up, brushed imaginary dust off of my favorite ducky pajamas and slid down my fire pole into the kitchen.

"Hey Mom, makin' pancakes?" I asked, trying to sound unexcited at the prospect of beautiful, syrup covered pancakes, and failed. Oh well.

"Pancakes! I love pancakes! Yes!" Joe yelled as he slid down his own fire pole.

"He does like pancakes." Nick added.

"It's true, but then again who doesn't like pancakes?" I said, and really, who doesn't like pancakes?

"I don't. I like cereal. Take that." Frankie said as he came out from the cabinet under the sink. How does he fit in there?

"What?! How can you not like pancakes?" Joe exclaimed, obviously mystified by Frankie's lack of pancake love.

"Their too… happy." Frankie replied, pouring Crunchy Cats into a bowl and adding milk.

I really didn't care if Frankie liked pancakes or not, all that mattered was I got to eat them. Mom handed me a plate of steaming hot pancakes and handed me the bottle of syrup.

"Thanks mom, they look delicious." Nick told our mother as she handed him his plate. By then I was already done with my first pancake and moving on to my second. Once me, Nick and Joe were done with breakfast it was time to head off to school.

"Bye Mom, love you!" we all recited before heading out the door. Joe wanted to ride the motorcycle today, so he and Nick climbed onto the bike and I got into the side car. I didn't mind the side car, I'm guessing this is what a dog would feel like if it was running at whatever speed Joe's going. It's pretty awesome.

Once we got to school we walked to the hall where our lockers were. Stella and Macy were there, getting books out.

"And then she asked me what I thought about her skirt, and of coarse it was horrible, but I couldn't tell her that…" Stella droaned about someones fashion mishap as Macy almost fell asleep against her green locker, Joe on the other hand was listening intently and adding in his own thoughts ever few seconds.

"Hey Macy, how are you?" I asked, she looked really bored and I thought she could use someone to talk to.

"Oh, I'm good Kevin of Jonas, just getting my stuff for hockey practice." Honestly, how many sports can this girl play?

"Oh cool I was just-" my sentence was cut off as Macy pulled a hockey stick from her locker and accidentily hit me in the face with it. Ouch. I stumbled backwards, hit my head on my locker, and fell on to the shiny linoleum floor. Everything started going black and then I saw him. It was that lemur and he had a huge bowl of chocolate pudding. Maybe I was in heaven. It certainly felt that way as I ate the first spoonful of pudding. Yum.
