Disclaimer: Harry Potter belongs to J.K Rowling and I wish it to remain that way.
"Ted! Ted! Come on! There're here, Ted!"
That's what woke up Ted in the morning. He quickly drew out his wand and rushed outside the small tent they camp in. He could see them running up the hill towards them.
'Snatchers!' He thought. He threw some curses at them, knocking a few of them unconscious, but the rest of them were firing curses at them too.
"Dean! Griphook! You have to go! No Dean, go!" Ted called to them, pushing Dean inside the tent again to help them. He turned around for a minute to see Dean and Griphook running down the hill, and out of sight. But he saw the other Goblin, Gornuk, staying and trying to fight.
He didn't last long, the Snatchers overpowering him. He fell to the ground, dead. Ted felt anger rise up in his stomach, and went back to the fight. He thought of his beautiful wife, Andromeda, and Ted fought for her. To be reunited with his wife and daughter. Ted and Dirk fought well, almost defeating the Snatchers.
Then Death Eaters showed up.
He started fighting them, but one of them cast the Cruciatus Curse on him. He screamed in agony, falling onto his knees, while the unbearable pain continued. Then it stopped. He panted there for a few seconds before slowly, with some stumbling, got up. Then he heard one of them screech those fatal words.
"Avada Kedavra!"
Ted closed his eyes for the impact, but it never came. He opened his eyes and looked to his side, just in time to see Dirk falling to the ground. Ted roared in anger and sadness, and turned back to the Death Eaters. He fought harder and harder, getting a few of them unconscious, but they were better. Ted finally saw a streak of green light heading his way.
When Harry Potter arrived in his house, he saw those striking emerald eyes. The curse heading his way reminded him of the poor boy. Ted hoped that he would win, for the sake of the Wizarding World, for the sake of Dora and Andromeda.
Finally the curse hit him. His vision was blinded by the green light, then everything turned black. Ted Tonks knew no more.
One-shot. Rate and Review. :D
