"I knew she loved me more than that leech. The way she just kissed me proves it. Wait a minute; I hope she doesn't get in trouble. He'd better not try and hurt her." I made myself think of happier thoughts. "This has to be the best day of my life! I'm fighting bloodsuckers and Bella kissed me. "I slowly thought of every second of the kiss. I heard groans. Poor Seth. He'll understand someday.
"Jacob, focus!" Great why does Sam always ruin the fun?
"Alright, fine," I answered as I burst through to where the pack was waiting.
"About time you got here." Embry thought and walked up next to me.
"Damn it, I would've taken his share if he wasn't here." I rolled my eyes and glared back at Paul. He quickly shuffled over to the side looking sorry. Quil was about to say something sarcastic but stopped.
"You guys here that?" he asked. We all stopped and listened. Through the trees about a couple of miles away we heard excited yells. I tensed and beside me I saw Embry and Quil do the same.
The newborns were here.
