I. do not own Harry Potter. I don't even have anything to do with Harry Potter, I know because last year when I was ten, I was at camp, and I recieved NO LETTER. I'm a mere muggle. _
Spoiler Warning: I got the idea after watching the seventh movie so.. Yeah.
This is my first Fanfiction that isn't Fullmetal Alchemist! I watched the last Harry Potter movie, almost as good as the book I must say! Snape died. I almost cried, he was my favorite. ANYHOW, enough of my rambling read on!
Lilly grinned, eyes shining, making the small leaf in her hand hover in the air, "Petunia, Look what I can do!" Petunia's eyes widened.
"What are you doing?" She slowly backed away. "Stop that, it's not normal!"
Lilly's grin faltered, "But Petunia! It's really cool, just look" She took a step towards her sister, who took a larger step in the opposite direction.
"I said stop! You're… You're a freak! Freak, you're a freak!" Petunia's voice was high pitched and accusing, and with one last hate-filled glance she started racing towards the small cottage near the meadow they had been playing in, tears streaming down her youthful face. "I'm telling mom you're a freak!"
Lilly stood perfectly still, frozen with shock. "What just happened? Am I really a freak?" Lilly sniffed, trying her best to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill. She had never felt more alone then she did now. What was wrong with her? "I really am a freak, aren't I?"
"… I don't think you're a freak at all."
Lilly spun around, wiping the non-shed tears from her eyes, "Who are you?"
A boy with black eyes, all black clothes, and greasy black hair stood in front of her, a genuinely friendly smile gracing his face, "My name is Severus Snape, I overheard your conversation. I don't think you're a freak at all." The boy crouched down, picking a long piece of grass before standing up again. Lilly tilted her head in confusion.
"Why? Why don't you think I'm a freak too? You saw what I did…"
Severus's grin only grew larger, "I don't think you're a freak because I can do it too." The grass that had previously been in the boy's hand was now swirling through the air. Lilly looked at Severus with pure happiness, feeling ten times less alone then she had only a minute ago. She turned her attention to the piece of grass. Both children watched it for a few minutes, occasionally glancing at each other.
"Want to see what else I can do?" Severus asked. Lilly nodded, curious. The boy turned his attention back to the grass, which went from weaving random patterns in the air, to Lilly's delicate wrist, twisting itself into a thin grass bracelet.
Lilly stared at her new bracelet in amazement, "That was really amazing! Thank you!" Lilly ran up the boy and embraced him in a tight hug, Severus blushed slightly and awkwardly patted her back with one of his hands. Lilly pulled away, beaming.
"Lilly, come here, Now!"
The smile faded off of Lilly's face as she turned around, facing the cottage where her mother stood outside, calling her to come inside.
She turned back around, facing Severus, her smile returning. "Thank you, Severus. I have to go now. " Lilly hesitated for a second. " …See you tomorrow?"
Severus nodded and turned his back, walking away.
The End(:
Thank you for reading! If you liked it, please tell me because if people actually like this, I'm planning on doing another little Snape/Lilly thingy. ^w^
