Prologue
"Hey, Peter-san..."
Peter Pan looked at 5 year old Shamia with one of his eyebrows being raised when his name was called.
"I was thinking about this ever since we first met and well, maybe I will go to Neverland..."
"Really, Shamia?! That would be great!" Peter cut her sentence off as she facepalmed.
Guess he couldn't wait to bring her to Never Land. Taking a deep breath, she added"Sheesh! Look like someone was too excited that he didn't hear the rest of the explaination. Listen here. I will go to Neverland on my 12th birthday.I'm still in training with Ojīsan and it would take another 7 years."
Hearing the end of Shamia's explaination, Peter was half happy and half sad. Happy that she would stillgo to Never Land and sad that he will have to wait for the next 7 year for her arrival. But he understood the fact that she must train really hard in being a great fighter and exorcist or in Japanese, onmyouji.
Knowing that the boy was kinda sad, the 5 year old Japanese American girl then began to put her right fist to her left chest and her left fist on the right side of her back as she wanted to pledge something.
"I, Shamia Shirayuki Lawrence, promise that in the next 7 years, I will make my way to Neverland after completing my training to be a fighter and onmyouji."
The 'pledge' really cheered Peter up as he began to fly around with happiness. "I'm really happy to hear that. Hope that once we are reunited in the future, you've become the greatest fighter and exorcist I will ever meet."
Putting out his pinky finger, Peter looked at Shamia. "Promise?"
Knowing where this was going, Shamia smiled as she intertwined her pinky finger with his. "Promise."
"Shirayuki!"
Shamia began to snap out of her thoughts as she noticed her half wolf shikigami, Ichijo Karasume was standing by the door with his arms crossed.
"Sheesh... I can't believe that your mind is somewhere else right now. "
Shamia sighed as she began to look at her wolf familiar. Man! I can't believe I had that same dream again. But it would be good to see Peter-san again. It had been years since I last saw him.
"I'm sorry, Ichijo-kun. I was just remembering something."
The male then shook his head. To be honest, he was really annoyed with Shamia, especially when she wasn't paying any attention, aspecially when today was a really important day for her.Looks like I have to remind her.Taking a deep breath, he said, "Oi, Shirayuki! Ojīsan is waiting for you from just now. Hurry up! And one more thing..."
"What is it?" That was the only thing that came out of her mouth when she heard the last part. But the next thing the shikigami said would surprise her.
"Happy birthday, Shirayuki. You're finally turning 12 today."
"EHH?!"
