Chapter: I
Annabeth
The ship rocked in the air, the feeling of nausea flooded into me, not because of the motion, Percy and I went on many boat trips, including one on the sea of monsters! No, it was worry, worry that Percy wouldn't remember me, and... My eyes began to water. Piper had tried her best to assure me that it'll be alright. Yet, Jason didn't remember anything, why would Percy? The cool air touched my face, my knees wobbling, not because of the cold, because of fear and I've battled titans!
"Annabeth, come inside." Piper called me. I pretended not to hear her. I couldn't let them see me, not like this. I am the daughter of Athena, I should be able to stop thinking about a boy and focus on this journey.
"Annabeth?" Piper came and stood beside me."
"Yes?" I managed, thou I know Piper could detect my sorrow, her being the daughter of Aphrodite and all.
"What's wrong? Is it Percy?" Piper's voice comforting, but I still felt miserable!
"No." I lied
"Annabeth?" She asked again.
"Fine it's Percy." I said miserably. Piper smiled as if saying. Don't worry everything will be okay.
"Don"t worry Annabeth, he'll remember you." She told me.
"How do you know?" I snapped. "Sorry."
"Why would Hera take that memory?" Piper asked. The truth was I didn't know, but why wouldn't she?
"Hera hates me remember." I reminded her.
"She wouldn't waste her energy on a old fuse. " Piper told me, which made a little sense, but I still felt miserable! I followed her inside without a word.
"Annabeth, now that we are all here. Captain Leo, that's me by the way have something important to announce. We'll be landing tomorrow noon."
