It was Friday, the day of the big street party down by the docks. My friends Ariel, Rebecca, and Kelsey and I, Andrea, were at Ariel's house planning to go. I put on my skeleton jacket over a red shirt and black jeans. I sat on the bed where Kelsey, Rebecca, Ariel, and Kendra were sitting. "So how are we going to sneak out in the middle of the night, walk all the way to your house, and get to the docks, which is miles and miles away without getting noticed?" Kelsey asked Ariel. "Ya know, I don't know about this. I mean… I hate lying to my parents and I'm pretty sure this is a really big lie." I sighed and slumped back into my pillows. "Yeah, and what if we get caught? Huh?" Rebecca questioned. "We wont. Just wait until your parents are asleep and sneak out of your house. Then meet Ariel and me here in the garage and we'll show you how we're getting there. Unless you chicken out." Kendra said, making some odd chicken impersonation. "But, first things first. We're going shopping!" exclaimed Ariel, wiggling her eyebrows. "YAY! AHH!" Becca shouted as she slipped off the bed and into a pile of crushed paper. Ariel's mom heard the crash and opened the door. She paused, looking around. "Uhh…are you ready to go?" she asked. We all agreed and ran out the door to get in the car.
Ariel's mom dropped us off at the mall and we immediately started running from store to store, buying shoes, hats and awesome clothes from Hot Topic. "This is fun!" Becca said. She clapped her hands and dropped her stuff all over the floor. She sighed. "Aw man…" "Uh…yeah. Ahem. These are awesome shoes!" Kelsey held up her new Converse shoes. "What else do we need?" Ariel thought for a second. Kendra butted in. "Oh, duh! We need silly string! How could we forget that?" she said, making it completely obvious that we made a mistake. We turned and ran into Party City to get our silly string.
Kendra had told us to sneak out at midnight. I sighed and rolled out of bed, putting my Chucky doll on my pillow and stuffing clothes under my blanket to make it look like I was there. I slowly walked out of my bedroom, not making any noise. Then, suddenly I heard something meow really loudly. I looked down, trying to hush up my cat, 6-Pac. I sighed, seeing as it was no use. I knelt down and hugged him. "Bye, buddy. See you tomorrow. Don't blow my cover." I laughed. "I love you 6-Pac." I stood up and slowly turned the doorknob. I was out.
