Clara was glad to see the doctor so happy again. He was running around in the Tardis control room, pressing buttons, his smile wider then ever before. She knew that it was because the burden of killing his own race was no longer on him and seeing happy made her happy.
"Alright then, Clara Oswald, where do you want to go? We could go to the future, visit US President Jennifer Lawrence, or we travel to Raxacoricofalapatorious or maybe we should visit Adipose 3, I've always wanted to see the cute fat again."
Clara laughed when she heard the excitement in his voice.
She thought for a moment before she said "How about we go just a few years into the future, I wanna see what will happen on earth in fifteen years, I want to know how much the planet will change in that time." He looked at her, slightly disappointed by her lack of imagination.
"Just fifteen years? Are you sure? We could go one hundred years, that's far more exciting! no, it's your choice, fifteen years it is." He landed the Tardis and then opened the door. "London, the year 2029. Not a very good year I think. There was something wrong but I can't remember what it was. We'll, let's just find out." And with that exited the Tardis, her following.
"WHAT THE …" Clara couldn't believe what she saw. The houses on the side of the street were in ruins, she heard screams of pain and anger coming from all everywhere and big explosions erupting close by.
" Doctor what is this? It can't be London, please tell me it's not London, why would this happen?"
She looked at the doctor and was shocked by what she saw in his face.
It was blank horror.
"Clara" he said " We need to get out of here, right now, there is nothing we can do for these people, please." Clara couldn't believe what she heard, the doctor, running away? This couldn't be true. "Doctor, I don't understand, you have to tell me what happened!"
"Well", the doctor looked around, at all the destruction, at all the crying and screaming people "the BBC has just announced that Sherlock Season 4 won't be out for another two years.
