Spongebob's Big Day

Amanda Starman

"Hey Spongebob!" Patrick called to his yellow friend.

"Hi Patrick!" Spongebob yelled back.

"The package came today!" Patrick yelled back.

"What package?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Patrick, you just said that the package came today."

"Spongebob, I am sick of you putting words in my mouth."

"I'm not putting words in your mouth! You walked up to me and said-"

There was a big crash from the sky. A box taller than both Spongebob and Patrick slammed between them.

"Oh, that package!" Patrick exclaimed.

"What's in it?" Spongebob asked.

"Something extremely fun!" Patrick said.

"What kind of fun thing?"

"I can't tell you. You'll have to help me open it to see."

"Well, okay!"

The two sea creatures got busy to work. The pulled at every corner and tugged at the tape.

"Patrick, this won't open! We need a knife."

"Spongebob, this is not time to cut the cheese. You know I like bubbles."

"Not a knife for cutting the cheese Patrick, a knife to cut open the tape!"

"Here!" Patrick exclaimed. He had his chest puffed out and a torch with fire on it in his grip. He ran to the package and threw the torch on it!"

"Patrick! The package is ruined!" Spongebob said, letting ash slip through his fingers. He ran into his pineapple crying. Patrick laughed and laughed.

"SURPRISE!" All Spongebob's friends were in his house.

"You guys remembered my birthday!" Spongebob sniffled."

"AY, lad. You didn't think we would forget a wee guppies day o' celebration, did ya?" Mr. Krabs said in his sailors terms.

"Thanks Patrick! What was the point of the package, though?"

"What package?"

"The package we were just trying to open?"

"Let the birthday lad open his gifts!" Mr. Krabs declared.

Patrick's face fell.
