It's been a great few weeks as of late. Will, moved out of his house and into his own apartment (on good terms with his dad this time) on the edge of town so he can commute to his new college in the fall. But since its summer, he and I have had lots of time together. I pulled out my old bike and decided to use it instead of running all the time. Don't get me wrong, I still run at the park and I will be going out for the team next year, but let's face it, I can't run everywhere all the time, and since I don't have my drivers license yet, or a car, it's the bike.
Will told me that I was welcome to come over to his place to hang out anytime I wanted, and the apartment complex had a pool. How could I refuse? So, for a while that's what I did, I rode my bike over to his apartment, he would greet me with a kiss, we would go down to the pool, I would be wearing by bikini under my clothes, and we would float and talk and even kiss.
Well one day while we were floating, I plucked up my courage to ask him something that's been bugging me for a while.
"Will"
"Yea"
"Do you… I mean… that we'll ever take our relationship to the next level?"
Will almost fell off his raft, which I had to work to keep myself from chuckling at.
"Do you mean, you know, sex?"
"Well, yea. I'm not in a hurry mind you, but it's been on my mind for a while."
Will blushed.
"Well, to be honest, I've been thinking about it myself too."
"So, do you think we're ready?"
"I don't know. We could try. I mean we don't have to go straight into it; we could always ease into it. I've heard of ways to do that."
"Like what?"
I could tell he was uncomfortable but that's to be expected.
"Well, we could start of just seeing each other slightly exposed, like now, in our swimsuits."
"Oh, then after a while, we keep moving up to higher levels like underwear, touching, touching without underwear, etc.?"
"Yea, that's it."
I thought about it for a minute.
"Yea let's do that."
Will looked surprised.
"Really, you sure?"
"Yea, I love you Will."
Will smiled.
"Ok, we can start tomorrow."
"And since we're already in our swimsuits and we've seen each other like that multiple times, we can move up to the underwear tomorrow."
"Ok, it's settled then."
