As she was driving the unknown streets she saw a sign that read Welcome to storybrook¨. She saw few people in the streets. Some were cleaning; others were talking, as she reached a place call Granny´s. She read the information outside and apparently it was a restaurant. She was a little hungry after all she just drove 4 hours from her hometown in Boston. As she enter the place she felt all the eyes were immediately on her, but she felt two eyes in particular. She move her head to the right and there was this brunette woman sitting alone. She saw how she looked at her suspiciously.
"Hi, im Emma" She introduced herself.
"Hi, nice to meet you. Im Regina" She shook the womans hand as she flash a smile her way.
"May I sit here?" Emma asked smiling.
Yeah, sure.I supposed you're new here?" Regina asked as a matter of fact.
"Yeah, I am. Do you know where can I stay tonight? Im only gonna be here for the night.
Regina was kind of disappointed she was going tomorrow and didn't know why. They had their lunch together, did some talk and get to know each other more but it was time to go and say their goodbyes.
"Well it was a pleasure to meet you, Regina. I'll go and check up the place you told me about. Thank you so much." Emma said offering her a smile.
"No problem. Pleasure to meet you too! Um, would you like to come over tonight for dinner?" Regina asked kind of nervous.
"Sure! I'll be there." Emma said as she was just opening her car door.
Its was 7pm and her doorbell rang. She open the door and there she was. A stunning Emma on the other side of the door.
"Wow. You look gorgeous." Regina complimented her.
"Thank you, so do you." Emma said while blushing.
They stepped inside the house.
The did some talk while eating and after cleaning the dishes. Regina asked:
"Wanna watch a movie?"
"Yeah, sure. Why not." Emma said while flashing a smile her way.
"They settle on the couch and after minutes on thinking what movie they should see they decided. It was a cute movie, after all. Through the movie Regina felt Emma's head softly accomodate on her shoulder. Regina just chuckled quietly. It felt natural and it was cute, she thought.
At the end of the they both were asleep cuddle into each other arms on the sofa. The next day Emma woke up first. She didn't knew were she was, then she remember about last night. She quietly stood up and made breakfast. When she was making the coffee, she heard a noise.
"Oh. Good Morning, Ms Mills." Emma said smirking.
"Good Morning." Regina said smiling. "Um, may i ask what happened?"
"Oh, while we were watching the movie we fall asleep. I made breakfast as a little thank you for your sweet welcome here, i hope you don't mind." Emma said while blushing.
Regina just smiled. I could wake up to this everyday, she thought. She felt happy.
"Lets gooo then." Regina said.
They ate their breakfast and it was time for Emma to leave.
"Well, um. Thank you so much for inviting me over, but its time for me to go.." Emma said kinda sadly and slowly. She really enjoyed Regina's company but what she did not know was that Regina also loved her company.
"It was my pleasure. It was nice meeting you." She said blushing. "And if you ever come back, make sure to say hello. Its called being polite." Regina joked while winking.
Emma laughed. "Sure!" She sure would miss Regina's sarcasm and just Regina herself.
They waved at each other.
Who knows, maybe in the future they will find each other. Who knows? They could only hope...
