The old woman ran through the woods along with her twin sons to avoid the angered villagers behind. The woods were a lush hazardous place that people tended to avoid around their village. They thought if they didn't go near it they would be safe and free of witches and other dangerous creatures. They were not bright because things happen and it happens for a reason, so the village had these 'dangerous things' in them, but they'd never known about them… until now.
