"Put your arms around me!" MK cried, trying to hold on to Nod as the wind threatened to rip her away. Nod held her tightly and the two of them gently kissed. Eventually, the power of the queen proved too much and MK was gone, back to her own world. Nod watched, as the only woman he loved flew away. "I never even told her." He quietly said. Ronin laid a hand on Nod's shoulder. "Nod..." He began. Nod turned. "Don't make the same mistake I did." Nod raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" He asked. Ronin sighed and turned to look at the new queen, who was laughing at something Nim Galu was saying. "I, too, was in love." "Queen Tara." Nod began. Ronin nodded. "Yes. But I let her escape. And now you are doing the exact same thing." Nod lowered his eyes. "Maybe so, but I'm a leafman, she's a stomper. It's not as easy." Ronin rolled his eyes and pushed him to the queen. "Idiot. Love has never been easy."

MK got up off the ground and dusted herself off. Turning, she sadly looked at Moonhaven. Ever since she had arrived, she wanted nothing more to return home. Now that she was home, she wasn't so sure anymore. Closing her eyes, she inhaled deeply and let it out. Moonhaven was not her world. Maybe if things had been different, maybe she would have been a leafman, maybe she and Nod... MK fought back tears and felt her heart break when Nod's cocky grin filled her mind. She had finally fallen in love, but it was doomed from the start. Wiping away tears, she faked a smile and decided to go find her father. Patch things up. When she finally did find him, he hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry, Dad." She whispered. Her dad shook his head. "No. I'm sorry." He whispered. He let her go and the two looked at each other, smiling. "MK?" Her father began. MK cocked her head to the side. "Is something the matter?" MK shook her head. " I'll get over it." She said. "It's nothing." Her father waited patiently. "I met a leafman named Nod and..." "I understand." Her father began. MK looked at him in surprise. "MK. I knew this had to happen one day. I know it's hard when... You know." MK nodded again. "Come on, let's go home." The two of them were heading back, when a loud SNAP was heard behind them. Turning around, MK peered into the forest. "Who's there?" She called out. After a bit of rustling, someone came out of the woods. MK's eyes widened and she was tempted to pinch herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming. "N...Nod?" She asked. Nod smiled gently. "Yeah." He said. After much convincing, and many goof-ups, the queen had finally managed to make Nod a stomper. MK stood, jaw dropped, blinking back tears until she finally let out a sob and ran into Nod's arms, crying into his shoulder. Nod gently held her, burying his face into her hair. "I thought..." MK began. Nod let go and smiled back. "Turns out I make a great stomper." He said. MK laughed at that before pulling him into a kiss. It must have lasted a few seconds, but to them, time stood still. Gently pulling apart, Nod tilted her head up so he could look her in the eye. "I love you, MK." He began. MK felt something in her heart jump. "And I love you, Nod." She replied. She turned to her dad. "This is Nod." She began. Her dad ran over to him and began shaking his hand so hard, Nod thought it would fall off. "Hello!" He began. "I am MK's father. It is so good to meet you. Oh I have lots of questions for you..." While he was firing question after question, Nod turned to look at the world he left behind. Sure he wouldn't be able to see Ronin, the leafmen, Nim Galu, Mub, Grub, or the queen again, but he was with MK, and he knew there would be no regrets.
