At the Royal Woods public park, a certain girl sat alone on a bench as she pondered what to do about a particular decision. This girl was Margo, one of Lynn's baseball teammates.

As for the decision... Well...

A couple days ago...

Margo and her baseball teammates were going home after a particularly intense baseball game, which, of course, they won.

And then the star player that won the game approached Margo... Then shared a high five with her before leaving, upon which Lynn caught up to the girl.

"Margo, wait!" the athlete exclaimed until she reached Margo. "I'm so glad I caught up with you. I need to ask for your help."

"Uh, sure, what is it?" the girl answered.

"You know that I also play roller derby?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, I have several teammates, and one of them is Polly Pain-"

"Oh, I've heard of her! She's apparently the star player."

"Yeah, that... That I won't deny, but something unexpected happened: Polly is too busy today, and I need my whole team for something."

"For what, exactly?"

"You see, my family's going through some super-intense-house-security-overhaul thingy, and everybody was asked to contribute. Point is, I need my whole team just to be safe."

"Lynn... What are you getting at?"

Then, with "I need you to replace Polly Pain."

Back in the present...

"Why, of all people, did Lynn have to pick me?!" Margo exclaimed as a figure approached her. "Even if I was half as good as Polly Pain is, what made her think I would make a convincing substitute?!"

"So you were my replacement?"

Margo flinched and turned around to see Polly Pain right next to her. "Oh, uh, w-whatever you heard-"

"I heard everything," Polly sat next to the girl. "And my teammates told me whole story on the way here, so, I didn't forget any details."

The buck-toothed brunette looked at the ground and said, "I'm sorry."

"Why should you be?" Polly inquired, giving Margo a smile. "All you did was help out Lynn in something I couldn't help her with. That's not something you should be ashamed of."

"I know, but... I just don't think I was a good choice to replace you. Mostly 'cause I'm not that good at roller skating myself."

"...Would you like to learn, then?"

The brunette, of course, was caught off-guard. "W-Wha?"

"Would you like to learn how to be a good roller skater?" Polly offered a hand shake. "Let's make a deal, you teach me how to play baseball, and I teach you how to roller skate."

"Why do you wanna learn how to play baseball?"

"I don't, but I find it an interesting challenge. So, what do you say?"

Margo thought about it, then with a smile, she accepted the hand shake and shook hands as she said:

"It's a deal."
