Ellis' stood back, almost leaning against the wall of the safe room.

He blurted out in a shirking high pitched voice "Am I pale to ya'll."

"You're several shades of pale. Boy" Said Coach in a firm and slightly loud voice.

Although Coach's voice is always slightly loud and even louder in the worst of times.

Ro is giggling like a school girl in the background from what Coach had said.

"Why do you ask, Sweetie?" Coming from Ro's soft motherly like tone of voice.

"Well I was just thinkin' I must look really pale to you and Coach."

Ro was shocked at what Ellis just said and a little confused.

Ro replied "Well honey, Nick is pale as well." In the sense he is white just like Ellis, without saying it.

"Yea but Nick's covered in thick curly hair, I reckon my buddy Keith would say he looked like some kinda werewolf, with all that chest hair."

Coach burst out loud with laughter at what the boy had said.

Nick wasn't in the safe room, he needed the toilet. Nick told the other survivors to head up to the safe room without him. He wanted peace and quiet, while he went about his business. Usually Coach would be singing or whistling and Ellis would be talking, trying to start up a conversation with Nick to past the time while using the facility.

"Oh Ohh, I didn't mean anythin' by what I said about being Pale compared to you and coach. It's just that you and Coach seem to be gettin' darker. Like I mean you two are gettin' tan from bein' outside in the sun zombie killin' and all."

"I understand, Sweetie." Replied Ro.

"Your right Boy you haven't tanned at all. And you've been walking around without a shirt on and you think in this heat, you wouldn't be so pale. As for Nick that man walks around with a suit and jacket on, his never gunna tan."

"Man I wished I did tan a little tho, I haven't even gain and muscles yet either and I've been swingin' this axe here around non-stop killin' zombies."

"You gained a little muscle Ellis, Sweetie."

"Aww yea you think, I'm glad cause I really wanted to impress that girl we meet on the bridge."

"You meet her once and I don't think she's interested in a hick like you." Grouched Nick.

"Don't listen to Nick boy I'm sure she thought you were very impressionable. Considering the circumstances but I don't think you will ever see her again. Unless CEDA gets this under control."

"Nick when did you get back?" Asked Ro.

"Walked in hearing Ellis talk about his nonexistent muscles."
