A/N: I'm Solangelo trash, so here you go.
Nico walked up behind Will, watching his breath come and go in the winter chill. The twang of Will's bow was amplified in the silence of evening at Camp Half-Blood, and he was shivering noticeably.
"Cold?" Nico asked Will, causing him to jump.
"Jeez, Nico, don't do that." Will grinned at him. "And of course I'm not cold. I'm the son of the sun god. I'm naturally hot."
Yes, you are. Nico looked away from Will, hoping that he didn't notice the blush rising to his cheeks. "Yeah, well, I'm the son of the god of the Underworld. I don't get cold because I am cold. Here," Nico pulled his jacket off and placed it around Will's shoulders.
Will laughed. "Cold? I beg to differ." He gazed up and down Nico's body.
Nico shivered, which had nothing to do with the temperature of the air.
"See, now you're cold." Will said.
"No, I'm not. I'm just—what are you doing?" Nico asked, a note of panic in his voice. Will had wrapped his arms around Nico's waist.
"Body heat. Survival 101." Will replied, trying not to laugh.
"St-stop." Nico's face got even redder.
"Nope. Not until you hug me back." Will hugged him tighter.
"I-I thought this was survival, not a hug."
"Di Angelo, shut up and hug me." He buried his face in Nico's shirt.
Nico slowly wrapped his arms around Will. "How long do I have to hug you for?"
Will grinned. "Forever."
Nico made a strangled noise in his throat.
"Oh come on. You know you want to." Will said in a singsong voice.
"No, I don't." Nico tried to pull away and laughed, which surprised him. "Let go of me."
Will giggled. "Never."
"I'm going to tell everyone that you're ticklish if you don't." Nico whispered.
Will paled. "You wouldn't."
"HEY, EVERYONE, WILL IS—"
Nico was interrupted by Will's lips on his. He kissed Will back without thinking. Will buried his hands in Nico's hair, and Nico pulled Will closer by his waist. Will pulled away suddenly, and Nico frowned. "What—"
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that." Will said and rested his forehead against Nico's.
Nico grinned. "Hey, Will?"
"Yeah?"
"I know this just happened, but we've been friends forever, and I think I'm in love with you."
Will pressed another kiss to Nico's lips. "I know I'm in love with you."
Nico pulled away. He took Will's hand and gestured toward the cabins where some campers were starting up a fire. "Campfire?"
Will smiled at Nico. "As long as I get to hug you even if it's not cold."
"Of course." Nico replied, and they walked to the campfire hand in hand.
