A rose by any other name
Indiana, America 2015 may 24th
The woman in black walked slowly up to a grave that was surrounded by 2 tall trees; silently she laid a white rose upon it. The name on the grave had so much meaning, not only to the woman, but to both their friends and families. The woman lifted her black scarf off her head revealing thick brown curly hair. She had chocolate brown eyes with a look of sadness in them.
Kneeling down she touched the name which read Catlin Todd. Although the two woman never met they were connected in so many ways, but one stood out above the rest. Ari. To one woman he was her murderer but, to the other he was her protector. As she got up the woman pulled her scarf back up to cover her face. She walked away for a moment and then stopped. She turned back and said "sorry Catlin."
For about ten minutes she waited for them arrive. She knew them, they were her and Catlin's friends. Another woman also in black laid black roses on the grave not noticing the white one. The mourners talked about their fallen friend. All but one left. Looking down he noticed the white rose, he picked it up and smelt it, smiling he put it down and walking back to the others.

It was a cold dark day as the woman walked up to her brother's grave, brush the unwanted tears away, she would not cry, she was too strong for that but it was no use the tears kept coming. She said nothing but sat looking at the name which read Ari Haswari. Remembering the boy he was not the man he became.
As time went on she noted that she was not alone, Slowly but surely she reach for the knife that was consealed at her hip, spinning round she came face to face with green emerald eyes. Their eyes locked for what felt like years but in reality was only a few minutes. He smiled then looked past her to the grave. She opened her mouth to explain why she was there but he held up a hand to stop her, already knowing the answer.
She stood frozen to the spot as he walked past her to the grave and laid a single white rose next to the red one she left Walked back and stood next to her. Reaching out he took her hand in his own. She knew what this meant, they didn't need words.
It had been a year since they had been this close. Yes a few letters were sent but nothing to say if it was over if she was safe? the truth is that she was never safe but if he was around she felt like she was. This was it, they both knew it, if she went with him, then they both would be in danger. If she left he would be safe and she would be dead in a matter of days. Would she choose love or death? Her Family's life or her happiness?
She made her decision, if she was going to die soon she might as well be with her family. He saw this in her eyes, he gradually let go of her hand. Nodding he walked back to the car, leaving her alone with her fallen brother "Sorry Ari." she Walked away smiling her life was complete, she was ready to die.

Six people stood over a coffin in the ground yet to be covered up. All wearing black, some were crying as others stood silent. As time went on they began to talk about their friend who had risked her life for thier's so many times only to die by a sniper at least It was quick, a bullet straight through the head. No time to think, no time to move and no time to say goodbye.
It was too familiar; a friend dying by a bullet to the head, an enemy bent on destroying the team leader targeting the girls he cares about. After the ceremony all the mourners left but one. He stood staring at the name, Ziva David. It was Ziva's and Kate's partner that stood alone. Finely he bent down and placed a bunch of red roses with 2 white ones in the middle on the freshly moved soil. Getting up he turned to go "sorry Ziva" it was only a whisper, but it meant so much to them all, dead and alive.
