The warm sun shines brightly over the infinite, velvet cerulean skies. The trees and great greens of pasture gently rustles against the cool summer breeze. The scent of air was fresh and crisp, while soaring creatures circle their territorial skies. Kougaiji sat silently near the edge of a cliff that hovered above a small town below. He watches quiet and slow activities around him. He sits with his leg straighten and his extended white, sleeveless jacket which padded the ground and both arms stretch apart, holding onto the grassy soil for support.
Light brisk footsteps trotted near by. The man wore a brown blouse and beige pants with a white laboratory jacket casually swung behind his back. He walked towards where the prince had settle down. The prince turned his head towards the coming sound.
Kougaiji cursed, as he almost bolted up into a fight stance. "You..."
"Relax." Nii Jyeni cut in before Kougaiji could say another word. He placed his jacket down and sat next to him with both legs slightly tucked in and both arms hanging separately over them. The prince observed as the man made himself a spot. The doctor smiles heartedly at the prince, as he then glanced upwards as he watches few clouds drifted by. "Don't get the wrong ideas. I'd rather not be stuck inside."
A long paused.
"Is nice day, isn't it Kougaiji?" Nii Jyeni continued.
The prince looked at the doctor as his jaw dropped to a thin line; his mind quickly processed the agonizing sufferings that he went through previously back at Houtou Castle, in the laboratorial chambers. It didn't really occur to him till now. But how could something like that be happening out here? What if it did? The man, however seemed harmless and rather approachable? His head puzzled with endless thoughts.
"Yeah..."
The doctor layback on the green plains with both folded arms cushioning his head restfully. He shut his eyes as he listened to the sound of birds chirping high above the trees and the smoothing sound of wind whistling by. Kougaiji sighed as he watches over the doctor beside him looking peaceful and calm; he then rests his head onto the man's chest. "How long is this going to last?" He whispered.
Nii Jyeni took his free hand as he softly run his free fingers through each strand of the prince's red-wine hair. "I don't know..." He answered in a false tone with long grimacing smirk plastered his face.
