Red and Purple

A/N: HEY. Reader. This is for a Haku I know. :3 Not you. Btw go read my buddy suki and shadow's fanfics. *^*

It had been a long day in the shop. Vocaloids and UTAUloids had been running in and out of the double doors all 12 hours the small coffee shop was open. Haku had been one of the employees there, and this was one of the hardest days she'd ever worked. But there was always a familiar face that came in on days like these and every other day, and that was the cause of Haku's smiles.
On this particular day, however, that face hadn't shown up. Drinking sake and holding back tears, she slammed her head onto the counter. Her hair fell into her face, and she wiped her eyes. Today had been one of the hardest days ever, and he was making it harder by not being there.

A girl with bright green hair that didn't go past her neckline walked in from the kitchen. "Haku? Is everything alright?" the limette asked. Haku didn't use her mouth to answer, her sobs did the job for her. The limette patted Haku on the back. Before the 'familiar face,' this was normal; everybody that worked at the coffee shop knew that. Haku just had those times where she completely broke down.
Wiping her eyes, Haku downed the rest of the sake and threw the bottle away quickly, feeling more tears welling up. Suddenly, Haku heard the door open and close. Whipping around, she saw who she hadn't seen all day.
Standing in the threshold of the small coffee shop was Akaito Shion. Immediately running up to Haku and hugging her, the Shion brother asked, "What's wrong, Haku-chan?"
"I-I didn't think you were coming so I… I'm sorry," she replied, squeezing his tall figure tighter.

The tall boy sighed. "Haku you know I'll always be here, unless something huge comes up. Okay?" Haku just nodded, her cheek rubbing against his chest, wiping a few tears that had escaped her bright red eyes onto his dark shirt. Akaito tried to let go, but Haku clung to his torso, her shoulders shaking with sobs she couldn't contain.
Finally releasing the tall redhead, she slunk down into a random chair, covering her crying eyes with her pale hands. She wasn't sure why she was crying, except for one thing: she knew she couldn't live without Akaito. Perhaps it was finally time to tell him, she decided.
"A-Akaito… I can't hold it back anymore. I want us to be… ah… t-together," Haku stuttered out, looking up at him with her teary red eyes when she said this. She felt herself blush a deep, deep red. Haku calmly lied her head down on the cool table, sighing.
Akaito was blushing just as much as she was. It was cute to Haku, seeing his face match his hair. "Well you know… I've kind of wanted that for a while now." Akaito said. He set a chair up next to the wall, which wasn't far from Haku, and sat down in it, pulling Haku and her chair closer to him.
Suddenly, a high-pitched squeal could be heard from the kitchen. Haku burst into uncontrollable laughter. "God, Gumi!" she laughed out, fake-glaring at the limette watching from the small kitchen window. The limette, now known as Gumi, immediately disappeared from behind the window, an audible giggle coming from the kitchen as she did.
Akaito did the unexpected as soon as she disappeared however. He leaned in, his and Haku's noses touching. He wasn't blushing anymore, but Haku sure was. All she could do was stare into his eyes. He suddenly picked her up out of her seat and stood up along with her. "I figured… It would be easier to kiss you when you stood up. And cuter for our… audience." He said, smirking. Haku balanced herself on her tippy toes, finding it sort of hard to reach him without doing so. She wrapped her arms around Akaito's neck and pulled him down, into a long deep kiss. His hands wrapped around her waist and then ran along her back.
He stopped, and so did she. "I'll see you tomorrow…"
