Once Emily's tribe lived in peace with Panama. After the 74th Hunger Games, the capital got suspect of the tribe to their north. Emily is the sole survivor of the capital's brutal attack. She is wanted by the capital. Emily knew too much. The info she knows can change everything. Hunger games and before the catching fire.

Chapter one

POV: Emily Rose

I wake up to the sound of gunshots. I get where I can see what going on outside of my hiding area. I see the other survivors. "Where is the girl?" one of peacemaker asked. "She has a name, it's Emily and she isn't here," Jax said. He's lying to protect himself and his girlfriend. I'm the youngest of the group. One of them holds a gun to May's head. "Talk boy or she's going to get" peacemaker said. Jax looks at his girlfriend. "Don't do it, Jax you know what is at risk. " Mary spoke. No, don't let yourself get killed. Jax bit his lip. "What are you going to do to us," he asked. Both Jax and Mary are terrified. "If you will corporate you be turned into avox, however, if you do not corporate you have died," peacemaker said. I see that look in his eye. The look Jax has when he is about to do something or say something that he should not say or do. "I have been many things in seventeenth years on this earth; however, I'm not a traitor," Jax remarks. The peacekeeper shots him. "Now it's your time girl, what are you going to do?" peacekeeper asked. Mary looks at the peacekeeper with a smile on her face. "I'm going home to be with family and friends," she said. Peacekeeper shot her. After that peacemakers continue searching for me. I watch as the peacemaker leaves the cabin. I listen to the hovercraft leaves. I get out of my hiding spot. Both Jax and Mary are alive but not for long. "Emily comes here" Jax spoke. I walk over to them. He hugs me. "Go to twelve, you'll be safe." Jax states. I start crying. "You're hurt and you going to die because of me," I remark. Mary shakes her head. "Look, we knew what we were getting ourselves into when we ran to get you out of there." Mary tells me. Jax lets go of me. I grab Mary's hand."If it was not for me any of this would have happened," I spoke. Jax shakes his head." Look at Rose, what the capital is doing is wrong and they need to stop." Jax mumbles. His time is coming soon. "I'm just one person," I stammered. Mary adjusts herself to be sitting up straight. "Emily, you are like my sister I know this is going to be hard on you" May states. I look at her. "I know that I love you May" I sobbed. She hugs me. "I love you, Emily, something are meant to happen, even if our plans did not go as we thought they should," Mary adds. The tears keep streaming, and I hug Mary." I'm going to miss you Mary, and you too Jax" I spoke. Mary and I let go." Go while you still can Emily." Jax warns me. I walk to the door and do the three finger salute to them. I grab my backpack. I look at my clothes. There's blood on my clothes since I hug both Jax and Mary. I cannot go back home or here. I start my long trek to district twelve. By the time I get to district twelve. Jax and Mary will be dead. I will not let my peoples' sacrifice go to waste not now. So many have died to keep me alive and get me where I am so far. A few hours later, I'm near what I believe to be woods outside of district twelve. I see a female and male hunter. A few minutes later, they have spotted me. Do I ran or not? The female hunter must know how to read body language. "We will not hurt you," she stated. I ease myself down the tree. I get down and out of the tree. "Where are you from kid?" the male hunter questions. I rub my eyes. "The wilds," I replied. They look bewildered. "It was Canada before the darks day," I informed. They nod their heads."What your name?" female hunter questions. The female hunter looks familiar. "I'm Emily Rose, who are you two?" I inquired. The male hunter nods his head."I'm Gale and the girl is Katniss or Kat nip" Gale replies. Katniss, she is the girl on fire."Why are you here Emily?" Katniss ask. I bite my bottom lip."Well, it is not safe for me to stay where I lived" I stated. It is not a complete lie. But it is not the full truth. The truth is I have no home to go back to."Why is not safe for you?" Gale asks. I do not blame Gale. I am cover in blood. "The capital destroys my home and tribe."I reply. Flashes of festival come to me in waves."What happen during the festival?" Katniss asks. I should have stayed at the camp site. "The celebration of 75 years of Independence, then they attacked us. Jax, Mary, and I survived the first attack. But I was only one to survive the last attack." I reply. Now the other tribes are trying to escape to district thirteen."Do you have anything left?" Gale asks. I put my hand on the locket around my neck."The things have in my bag and my locket I inherit from my mother." I answer. Through the conservation, I start crying."Emily, do you need somewhere to stay?" Katniss questions me. I have been on the run for so long." Yes please, I do need somewhere to stay." I reply. I know I am breaking the treaty, but desperate time calls for desperate measures. I watch as Gale and Katniss talk to each other about something. Gale leaves and goes to district twelve." Emily comes on, you can stay with me." Katniss stated. I nod my head. We walk to her house.

I am working on Emily's origin story. It would be set during the hunger games. I will edit the rest of story.
