A/N: Yet another of my "Sam's-thoughts-on-Frodo's-leaving" fics. I suppose the reason I do so many is b/c I think Frodo shouldn't have left and Sam shouldn't have married Rose (if you know what I mean). I was listening to the song, and 'grey-sky morning' reminded me of the Grey Havens. Anyway, I own none of the characters, the song "Grey-Sky Morning (Best I Ever Had)" belongs to Vertical Horizon. The best is like best friend. And the fifth stanza on is when he's thinking of following Frodo. If anyone can think of a better rhyme for stanza 3 line 3 tell me in a review.

PS: If anyone wrote, or knows who wrote a Harry Potter songfic called "Someday" where Snape proposes to Lily, please tell me in a review. Since they took down the Sort By Title option I haven't been able to find it, and it was a great story.
