The small girl held the white lily close to her hooded chest as she made her way onto the playground.
There she was, running around with her two moms. She went to her school, they were in the same class-
She admired the other girl, she thought as she snuggled into her two sizes to big umbreon jacket. She shifted the lily in her hand.
Freshly picked from the front of the school, the white lily lay in her palms. She had one chance to hand it over to the other girl before the flower died.
She inched forwards, fuzzy brown boots cruching the wood chips under her feet. She came to a stop and gulped.
No backing down now.
She tapped the other girl's shoulder. "u-uh, m-miss?" she quietly asked, squirming in place.
The other girl turned around. Her soft brown and green eyes entranced the umbreon jacket clad girl, causing her to lightly shake.
"Yea?" the other asked, smiling at her. The slightly shorter girl gulped and thrusted the lily out to the other.
The other girl gasped lightly. "O-Oh, for me?" she said, taking the lily from the shaking girls hands. "Oh, thank you thank you thank you!" she purred, hopping in place.
The smaller girl clad in the hoodie and glasses smiled and scratched a hand through her short hair. "I-Uh, it was nothing!" she purred shakily.
She shook lightly. "I- er, I sit next to you in class!" she purred, twidling her fingers together.
She was suddenly pulled into an embrace by the taller child and she gasped, feeling the sudden warmth inches from her. Her glasses went lopsided from the sudden hug.
She flushed red and hugged the other back before she broke the hug and bounded off to show the lily to her moms.
The small girl, hidden away in the big umbreon jacket, clad with pink circle glasses, smiled- a true smile.
