Hi everyone! I haven't been writing stories for very long, so please let me know what you think. Sorry it's so short, but it didn't take long to get my point across.

From the silent halls there came a slight, steady click of high heals. Then, louder, as if now sure where the person was headed. The once quiet click became louder and faster, then stopped all of the sudden. All was quiet again. A voice broke the silence. "Artemis, what will become of our beautiful moon kingdom? We will never see each other again." It was Luna, and her deep blue eyes looked worried as they searched for an answer in Artemis's eyes. "Ssssh." Artemis hushed her, running his hand down her soft black hair. "Queen Serenity will know what to do." "But-" Artemis held his finger to her lips and silenced her once more. The moonlight from the dark night sky shone through a nearby window, putting a shine in Luna's hair. "They didn't mean it." Despite his lie, he managed a smile. "It was all made up just to scare us." "But, Serenity and Edymion wouldn't lis to us, would they?" Ignoring her persistence, Artemis politely said, "Good night." to Luna and walked back to his room leaving a very sad and confused Luna behind.
Luna, very hurt from the information that had been told to her, walked slowly to her room, not wanting the day to continue any longer. "Why me," She thought as she rubbed her temples slightly, staring at her white canopy bed. "My life is so hard sometimes." She then, unwillingly, fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
She had not been asleep two hours, when she was awoke by Serenity shaking her. Sunlight poured in her window and she wondered what time she had gone to bed the night before. Drowsy and not fully awake, Luna stared at Serenity as her eyes began to focus. "What's the matter?" Luna asked, holding back a yawn. Serenity tried not to cry. "It's about to begin."
