Tolkien does...but, i do own the light blue rsvp pen and sticker-covered composition book this first was written in...sorry its all "romantic" and "happy" and short...i wanted my first hobbit smut fic to be not-so-smutty...i do promise there will be smutty ones in the future...

"dearest sam, have i told you lately how i feel toward you?" frodo said putting his hand to his dear friend's light pink cheek.
"mister frodo, whatever do you mean?" sam said, quite quizzical.
[[ "it's funny how, even now..." ]]
"samwise, you are the thing dearest to my heart, without you i am nothing" frodo said, as honestly as possible.
"mister frodo, sir, may i say that without you, my heart would not beat, fore i too would be nothing" samwise said grasping frodo's hand.
[[ "you still support me, after all the things that i've done..." ]]
"samwise, do you love me?" frodo said setting his deep orbs of beautiful blue upon sam's earthy brown ones.
"with all my heart, and with all my soul, master frodo" samwise said, returning the glance.
[[ "you're so good to me, waiting patiently..." ]]
"that's an awful lot dear samwise" frodo said looking away from sam's penetrating brown eyes, "you should not love me as much as you do. i'm not worthy of your love."
"frodo, my dearest master...my heart does not beat for just anyone" samwise said turning frodo's face toward himself with his small, hobbit-sized pale hand. "you are everything and anything i would or will need...it's just i am the one who is not worthy of such a beautiful hobbit such as yourself" samwise said, now looking downward away from frodo.
[[ "and isn't it sad that you still have to ask if i care..." ]]
"samwise, you're my knight in shining armor, in a sense. always there to defend me, keep me warm. my world would crumble with out you," frodo said touching sam's arm, making him gain eye contact again. "it's as if we're soul mates, twin flames, we complete each other..."
"kindred spirits, maybe..." samwise added, now smiling, "but enough with this incessant babbling." samwise leaned in and sweetly kissed frodo's soft pink lips.
[[ "i never said i was perfect, but i can drive you home..." ]]
"i love you" frodo whispered between kisses.
"and i you" samwise replied softly.
