Late one night two angels spoke
Of life, of love, of many things
Of time before humanity woke,
Of things to make cherubim sing.
Destiny, the daughter of time;
Friendship, the father of love;
Of such things to relate would be crime
Spoke these two beings from above.
These two sweet partner Digimon
Of their 'destined also conversed
Who upon each other oft fawned
Until they felt their hearts might burst.
Yes, Hikari, Takeru
That sweet young innocent pair
Loved each other through and through
To admit that's only fair.
This match was destiny wrought
And was by fate reconfirmed
Such love is constantly sought
But the sweet angels demurred.
Yet time passed and wouldn't slow
They must leave or else be missed
So they parted and did go
Leaving each with angels' kiss.
