Based on the recent arrival of Naomi (Kate Bell - JOEY) onto Neighbours. Watson finally finds where Joey disappeared to. A CJ fic, of course!

Sup yall! This story is based off the Neighbours episode I saw tonight (23rd April 2010). Do enjoy.

"YES!" Watson punched the air as she triumphantly scrolled further down the computer screen. Hearing the commotion, Charlie stuck her head out of her office door.

"Are you okay, Georgie?"

"Yes, fine, thank you." Watson turned back to the computer screen, while Charlie retreated back into her office.

"Yeah, she's an established fashion designer, she's just finished high school and making her own products," Nicole enthused to Ruby. "And she's willing to take me on!"
"That's great, Nic!" Ruby smiled, her friend's enthusiasm was addictive. "What was her name again?"
"Donna Freedman. She lives in Melbourne."
"Wow, Melbourne. That's a long way to go."
"Yeah, I know, but it will be so amazing!" Nicole twirled around while Ruby giggled. "I can't wait to go!"

Meanwhile...

"So I've got my first employee!" Donna Freedman looked at her best friend, Kate. "I don't know how she heard of me, but she's really enthusiastic and seems super excited about coming here."
"Wow, Donna." Kate grinned. "That's great. So what does Nicole design?"
"Well, she's been working on evening dresses, that sort of thing. You know I'm an amateur there, but she's amazing." Donna flicked through a design folder, finding the drawing she was seeking. Pulling it out, she offered it to Kate, who looked at it.
"Woah." Kate was dumbstruck.
"Yeah, I know, right?" Donna took the drawing off Kate, and put it back in the folder.

"She's arriving next week."

Back in the Bay...

"And so then she has to take the plane from Sydney to Melbourne." Ruby continued to chatter whilst she ate her dinner, while Charlie listened curiously.
"So she's not going to finish Year 12?"
"She already did, Mum." Ruby put her fork down. "Haven't you been listening?"
"Of course I have." Charlie smiled at her daughter. "How was dinner?"
Ruby beamed at Charlie. "It was awesome, thank you." She picked up her plate and kissed Charlie on the cheek, before standing up and taking the plate into the kitchen.

"Rubes, you forgot mine!"
"I know." Ruby laughed as Charlie groaned, dragging her feet into the kitchen and put her plate into the sink.
"I hope you're doing the dishes, Miss Ruby?"

"Get away! I have to go back to Irene's!"
"Yeah, yeah, I'll take you after we do the dishes." Charlie said firmly. Ruby sighed, knowing she'd lost.
"Okay, I got a deal for you."
"What?"
"Whoever loses has to wash the dishes."
Now Charlie was intrigued. "Okay... so what it is?"
"TICKLE FIGHT!" Ruby immediently jabbed Charlie in the ribs, causing her to squeak.
"Ooh, Ruby, you're going down!" Charlie leapt at Ruby.

Ten Minutes Later

As Ruby scrubbed the plates, Charlie questioned her further.
"So when is Nicole leaving?"

"She's leaving next week."

Not much of Joey/Naomi here, that'll be coming up soon.

Just as an after note, I noticed someone had put a video onto YouTube (imagine that). It's the 'Love the Bay' promo from the beginning of the year, but they've edited out the Charlie x Angelo bits and replaced it with Charlie x Joey. Good stuff.
