This is a very short fic I wrote about Voldemort and a loyal servant.

Disclaimer: I don't own Voldemort or his servant.  I do own * takes inventory of stuff * 1 pair of socks, $1.74, and some dryer lint.  So unless you want any of that stuff, don't sue me.

Why Must They Die?

 

            A tall, arrogant looking, blonde man approaches another man.  The second is a tall, imposing figure, with the look of a killer.  The first bows and says, "Master, why must Lily and James Potter be killed?" 

"Fool.  Do not question your orders!" thundered the master. 

"I wasn't questioning your orders, Lord Voldemort, sir.  I – I – I was just curious, a-a-as to why we must kill them," the servant said meekly. 

"Their child, Harry, is the one being who has the power to overthrow me.  If his parents are gone, he won't survive.  If he doesn't survive, I will.  I will rule the world with an iron fist if he is dead.  Do you comprehend now?" 

"Yes, my lord.  I now understand.  Shall I go to prepare for you?" 

"Yes, go Malfoy.  Prepare my path."
