THE RAIN
The rain it pours down in drops
Crashing into the ground
Separating never to come together again
The water
That dances from the moon
Fall to this forsaken earth
We do not disserve the tears of the clouds
Of the heavens
We people are cursed beyond reason
Even the innocent
We are all cursed
But why do these healing tears come from the sky
Replenishing the earth
They do not fall only to give life to earth
But also as forgiveness to all those cursed soulless
To all those broken beyond reason
To all those darken by shadows
The heavens cry for you
