Summary: The real reason why Cloud Strife was kicked out of the Life Stream.

"Zack!"

"ZACK!"
"…"

Fed up with being ignored, the mountain of a man walked up to his quarry and upended the bed that the Zack was laying in.

"Oh hey Angeal," Zack Fair said as his face lit up into a warm smile even though he was lying in a prone position on the ground.
"Zack, what's the meaning of this?"

Sitting up, Zack began to scratch the back of his head as he thought about what his mentor was saying to him.

"Meaning of what, Angeal?" Zack replied before zoning back out.
"Zack! Focus!"
"Huh?"
"Zackary! What. Is. THAT!" Angeal shouted as he pointed somewhere off into the distance.

Zack realizing that he'd pushed Angeal as far as he would go, he got up to go and investigate.

"Oh. Ah. That," he stammered with a nervous chuckle.
"Yes, Zack. That."

Zack stood there; avoiding eye contact as he nervously shuffled his feet and rubbed the back of his head.

"Well, ya see it's like this Angeal," Zack said in a pleading tone, "I was having a profound moment and it just felt right."

Angeal glared at his student with his arms crossed. The tension was so thick, Zack swore he was choking.

"Fine!" Angeal said as he starting pointing menacingly at Zack, "But I swear to Gaia if that kid causes wear, tear or rust to my sword I'm kicking your ass."
"He won't Angeal! I swear! Thanks!" Zack said as he bounced around his mentor.

4 years later…

"LET ME AT HIM! I'M GONNA SO KICK HIS ASS," Angeal roared.
"Aerith, hurry up and send Cloud back. I don't think I can hold 'Geal back much longer," Zack called out.
"YOU THINK SEPH KICKIN YA ASS WAS TAXING JUST WAIT YOU PUNK ASS MOTHERFU-"
"ANGEAL! You don't mean that!'
"He left my sword. MY HONOR. YOUR HONOR. He left it to rust!"
"I-I know 'Geal. I'll make him fix it. I'll talk to him when this is over," Zack said in a placating tone.
"You better," Angeal said before realizing what Zack didn't say. "Wait a minute. You've been able to talk to him this entire time and let that happen?"

Zack noticed his mistake as he looked up at his old mentor in terror. Angeal was so going to kick his ass all over the Life Stream for this.

"Well, I ah uhm. See, it's kinda like…" Zack stammered as he started backing away from Angeal. "Oh lookie it's a Remnant!" Zack shouted as he ran away from the man that was slowly prowling after him.
"I'm not falling for that SOLDIER," Angeal said before he was tackled by a pint sized Sephiroth Remnant.

And so gentle readers, that is the real reason why Cloud Strife, Savior of Gaia, was sent back from the Life Stream.
