Sup I also wrote a Spin!quirkless Izuku one. This one was inspired when the other I transferred some cash to my mom. It got me thinking, I could become super filthy rich and give my entire fortune to my mom and it still wouldn't be enough to repay her for everything she ever did for me, and then I was reminded of what Inko's quirk was. I was a bit surprised my search for deku with his mom's quirk didn't really turn up much besides Artificial human where Izuku is evil. Anywho, I have no idea where the story is going and I pretty much write as I get inspired, READ, ENJOY, REVIEW!
I don't own MHA/BnHA, otherwise I would have had Izuku be more willing to give his classmates advice for their quirks or more reliant on his notes. I feel like he would be the one to tell Kaminari to get steel wires or a stun gun he fuels with his quirk.
"THERE WAS NO NEED TO JUMP IN LIKE THAT!" The hero berated Izuku. He was sitting on the floor, two heroes, Kamui Woods and Death Arms, standing in front of him chastising him for his earlier actions.
All Might and Mt. Lady (despite not doing much besides being a windshield) were surrounded by news reporters, cameramen, and other forms of reporters.
"I'm sorry," Izuku said staring at the ground looking like he was about to cry. "But when I saw his eyes, I felt like I needed to do something. Before I knew it I was halfway there."
Kamui Woods sighed, he kneeled next to the kid and put an arm on his shoulder catching his attention, "kid, there's nothing wrong with wanting to help, but if All Might wasn't here then things could have gone south really fast. Did you think we were all scared to help or something? We needed to step back and think of a plan. There's no denying what you did was brave, but there's a fine line between being brave and being stupid. What you did bought the kid time, letting him breathe, but in the end, the villain got two hostages."
"Helping others isn't bad, but sometimes you need to control yourself and think things through, kid," Death Arms followed up.
"Understand," Kamui Woods asked. Izuku nodded. "Good, now let's get you to a hospital."
"EH?" Izuku let out in confusion.
"What're you surprised about? We don't know where that villain has been or what kind of diseases he has. Many viruses get transferred through fluids and the like, similar to what that villain is sort of made of and he did invade both you and that other kid's mouth. It's only natural to get a proper check-up."
"But, I'm fine. I don't feel weird," Izuku said in confusion.
"Kid, take it from me," Death Arms said, "you might end up with an...ah...an adult virus, yeah that, it's an adult virus and trust me, you don't want that."
"Ah," Izuku blushed a bit, "I ah...I already y-you k-know, the-the birds and the-you know, the t-t-tal-talk with war-warnings."
"Aaaaah," both male heroes let out in understanding.
"I ah...I feel fine," Izuku said in hopes that they decided to drop the subject.
"All the same, let's get you to the hospital," Kamui Woods said.
"He is perfectly fine," the doctor said in such a deadpan manner that it was almost impossible to take seriously.
Right now Izuku was with his mother, who quickly rushed to the hospital after getting word that her little boy was there, and they were currently in the doctor's office. They were both sitting on stools adjacent to the doctor with nothing in between them, his desk and other valuables stuck to the wall with a whiteboard and few x-ray photos.
Truthfully, Izuku was genuinely afraid of the doctor. In response to his fears, he was sitting really close to his mother with a bug-eyed look on his face while smiling awkwardly and slightly shaking. The reason for his fears, well, it was the exact same doctor who told him manifesting a quirk was impossible and by default so was being a legal hero and practically crushed his dream without an ounce of guilt.
Not particularly fear-inducing, but the doctor was blunt and very hard to read, combine that with the fact that he had absolutely no problem destroying Izuku's hopes and dreams, well, Izuku sort of developed a fear that everything the man would say would end up being bad news.
While Izuku has aged and grown, the doctor himself looked unchanged.
He was wide for sure and his face was round, but he wasn't exactly what you would call fat or chubby, more husky or simply wide than fat. He wore yellow glasses with a large frame with green tinted lens, the frame's horns looking like they replaced his eyebrows. In fact, the only hair on the doctor's head was his bushy uncombed walrus moustache. He wore a lab coat and had a stethoscope hanging around his neck.
"Oh that's good to hear," Inko Midoriya said in relief as slight tears leaked out of her eyes that she quickly wiped.
"You should be more considerate of your mother, young man," the doctor said, "the nurses said she was practically on the verge of a heart attack when she heard you were here because of a villain attack."
"Sor-sorry, mom," Izuku said, shifting his gaze to the floor.
"I'm just glad your fine sweetie," she said with a smile as she wiped her tears and rubbed her son's back lightly. "But, what possessed you to do that? Why on earth did you try to fight a villain?"
"...I don't really know exactly what it was," Izuku admitted, keeping his gaze on the floor, still slightly shaking in the presence of the doctor. "I was already running before I noticed it. I...when I saw Kacchan it just felt like he was asking for help. I couldn't stand around and do nothing."
Inko Midoriya and the doctor said nothing, they simply listened to what the young boy had to say.
"Earlier...I asked All Might if I could be a hero."
"EH! YOU MET ALL MIGHT!' Inko said in surprise.
"Well he was the one who caused the sudden downpour and defeated the villain," the doctor said with a small wave, "it was all over the news."
"No before that. I asked him if even without a quirk I could be a hero."
"He told you to be a cop didn't he?" The doctor deadpanned.
"Ah," Izuku was surprised that he guessed correctly, but all the same he nodded and casted his head down with a light tremble, "yea-yeah. He said that it was still a n-noble job and I'm not dis-dissing cops or anything but, I really wanted to be like All Might. He-he said he couldn't simply say yes to someone like me."
"Not surprising," the doctor said, blunt as ever. "A quirk is basically personal defence weapon, you can't exactly fight villains without it especially since villains don't exactly hold back on quirk usage. You surviving against a villain was pretty much a miracle. Keep in mind kid, miracles are called that because it doesn't happen twice."
It...it actually happened twice on the same day, Izuku realized, not that he was actually going to say it out loud. It was odd, it was his fault entirely that the villain got away from All Might, but he actually didn't feel guilty, well he did, it's just that guilt had nothing to do with saving Bakugo. "Yeah. Despite what he told me; when I saw Kacchan...I guess I just felt like I needed to do whatever I could to help, despite the fact I'm quirkless."
Inko Midoriya just stared at her son with a blank stare before she suddenly turned to face the doctor, catching his attention. The doctor knew what was coming, he had discussed it before with her. Without her saying anything, he knew what she was going to ask, but still, he let her do it.
"Doctor," she began with a determined face, "that experimental surgery, are you still looking for volunteers?"
"Huh? Surgery?" Izuku asked as he looked at his mother.
"Not me specifically, but my colleague is, yes. I take it you want to sign yourself and your son up?"
"Sign us up for what?"
The doctor sighed and stood up, he walked to a nearby water dispenser in his office. He poured two paper cups of water and walked back to the Midoriya's and handed each of them a paper cup of water.
"Oh, ah, t-thank you," Izuku said, accepting the water.
"Thank you," Inko said, accepting the water, quickly taking a sip.
The doctor walked back to his seat and with a sigh sat down. "A colleague of mine asked me to offer people like yourself, Midoriya, a chance at having a quirk."
"A-a chance?" Is something like that possible? Izuku thought to himself.
"Have you heard of the villain named "Overhaul?""
"Over...AH! I think I have," Izuku said, "he's the one who writes all those bads things about quirks, right?"
"Yes. He has published a lot of papers regarding the subject of quirks, mostly how it's a sickness, a disease, some virus that spread through rats."
"I-I've heard of that!" Izuku said in surprise. He had researched quirks before. "But I thought that the rat-virus theory isn't a viable because of the lack of hard evidence."
"Yes, that mostly just a theory without hard proof, but my colleague was inspired by the way of thinking. In the past when quirkless were the majority, there have been many experiments regarding quirks."
"Ah...Black Chapter," Izuku said in realization.
"Looks like you've done your research," the doctor said in a slight praise. "Yes, Black Chapter. It has other names; it's a period in time where countries raced to control this new type of biological weapon. Most of it involved dissections, vivisections, experiments that were downright criminal. Basically on par with trying to change a prisoner's eye color with needles and injections. The most successful approached was, sadly, controlled forced breeding."
"That was mostly in Africa right?"
"Nope, other continents too. Moving on though, the problem with transplanting the ah, the quirk factor, however it manifests, into another body is that the body rejects it in a rather violent manner. And it's not just the host's body, the quirk factor also gets pretty worked up which has led to many deaths. However, my colleague theorised that if we think of the quirk as a type of virus, one that's very specific in choosing its host, then it might be possible to transplant a quirk as long is it is, for the lack of better words, it's perfect victim."
"I-I think I understand but I thought quirk's are a genetic thing," Izuku said.
" I'm getting to that. Now let assume that you," he pointed at Izuku, "are a perfect victim for the virus, but the virus simply didn't take hold; like someone with a cold sneezing on you but you did not catch a cold. I'm not saying that anyone can infect with you some sort of retrovirus to give you a quirk, it's still a transplant. My colleague believes it's possible that, because you and your parent," he nodded to Inko, "are related, your body would not outright reject the quirk factor and the quirk factor would not outright reject you due to being the perfect victim for this "strand of virus.""
"Transplant?" Izuku said in confusion before his eyes widened. He quickly turned to look at his mother, "but that would mean-"
"Before you jump to conclusions," the doctor interrupted, "your thinking isn't too far off. Your parents are the infected and you are a perfect host. You father's quirk isn't a possibility if I understand it correctly, so the quirk factor that would be used in the transplant would be your mother's. Now, we are not just ripping her quirk factor out of her body. We'd have to investigate and run a few tests to determine if it's even possible to transplant the quirk factor. Even then it wouldn't be the whole thing, we would take just enough and use stem cells from her lipids to regrow the quirk factor. You would, in theory, gain your mother's quirk and she would still retain hers. But...this is all moot if we don't have someone like Recovery Girl who's quirk would allow us to force your body and your mother's quirk factor to bond during the abnormal healing process."
"Wait then, that means that..." Izuku didn't finish.
"Right, we still need to get someone whos quirk allows for rapid healing. The idea is that while the quirk factor would not outright reject your body and vice-versa there would still be some resistance. But if someone like Recovery Girl could force your body and your mother's quirk factor to heal, it would skip fighting off foreign elements and instead focus on healing and bind in the process."
"...but...that just sounds like a transplant, what does virus have anything to do with it?"
"I said it inspired the idea, not that it was part of the process. To be honest, people have actually done this to see if it can strengthen a quirk or force the creation of composite quirk. No success. The idea was that they already the virus so the quirk factor didn't really need to infect the host. But you, someone quirkless or healthy, can be infected. But then again it's moot without a healing quirk."
"Um, is Recov-oh," Inko said as she grabbed her stomach while it rumbled.
"Oh dear," the doctor said he turned to look at Inko, "do you have to use the bathroom?"
"Oh I'm-OH!" It rumbled again. The doctor sighed and pointed.
"Down the hall to the left." Inko quickly nodded as she quickly stood up and rushed out the door, dropping her empty cup on waste bin.
"Ah," Izuku let out as he realized he was left alone with the doctor.
"...Well that worked well."
"Huh?" Izuku let out in confusion, "what did?"
"My quirk," the doctor said taking his glasses off to reveal black sclera with red pupils that scared the hell out of Izuku, "it's called Ocular Juicer," he put his glasses back on but Izuku still trembled. "It's a quirk that allows me to make any liquid I see turn temporarily into something that would give you diarrhea if ingested."
"...Aaaah," Izuku let out as he looked at his half empty cup.
"Relax your fine."
"Hey-wait, wh-why did you-"
"Because I wanted to talk with you. Your mother seems determined to do what it takes to give you a quirk, and I am familiar with your mother's quirk to an extent, part of the reason I made the offer to her. Her quirk factor does seem like the type that can be transplanted. But, even with Recovery Girl's quirk, or any other quirk that would aid us, it's not something that can be healed within a day or two, not even a month. I made the offer, thinking she wouldn't accept."
"B-but, if you, why did you-"
"Izuku," the doctor said, "you don't need a quirk. No one does. A quirk is like a double jointed elbow or thumb that can kill someone, you don't specifically need it to function in society. Nowadays if your not a hero, a quirk is just cosmetic like...giant mammaries or a large genitalia. You don't need it to see, to breathe, to move, or to function comfortably in society. It serves no purpose." The doctor sighed. "You want to be a hero, right?" Izuku nodded, content on letting the doctor talk. "Do you know the hero Endeavor?"
"I-I've heard of him."
"A friend of mine spoke to me about his son's quirk, apparently he can use both fire and ice. He froze an entire building within seconds."
"S-seconds?" Izuku already letting his imagination run wild with wh-
"He's seven months older than you," the doctor said interrupting his thoughts. "If by some chance you got into UA's hero course, you'd be in the same grade with him. Your mother's quirk does have development potential but at the end of the day, it's just a quirk that lets you pull small objects towards you. Can you honestly tell me that you would not be intimidated by the other students with stronger quirks or that you could tough out UA's rigorous hero training and not think about quitting with a quirk like your mothers for a single second?"
Izuku really didn't know what to say. On one side, there was quirk that then escalated to quirk in UA, on the other side, the quirk wasn't flashy or heroic, if anything you were bound to hurt yourself with it.
"Your mother wants to give you a chance to be a hero, but the price for that is potential harm to her own quirk usage, months of recovery even if Recovery Girl decides to help, and make no doubt, she will experience pain. If you and your mother do this, and you don't become hero for whatever reason, that transplanted quirk becomes cosmetic." His stool creaked a bit as he leaned in. "Are you sure really want to put your mother through all that pain for something that would probably end up being cosmetic?"
Izuku didn't say anything. He just sat down and contemplated the doctor's words.
"You gonna do it, shithead?" Izuku quickly turned to the door to see Bakugo standing there with his bag.
"Kacchan!"
"Damn it, don't-OW!" Katsuki Bakugo shouted as hand his head. It was his mother, Mitsuki Bakugo, who did it.
"Don't curse at the damn hospital!"
"Don't hit me you old bat! OW!" Katsuki was hit again in the head.
"I'M NOT OLD! AND THAT WAS A PRIVATE CONVERSATION!" She turned both Izuku and the doctor, "sorry the door was open."
"It's my fault," another voice Izuku recognised said, "she was insistent that her son thank the person who did his best to save her son."
"AH-A-A-ALL MIGHT!" Izuku shouted with giant bug eyes.
"We were gonna knock but the door was open," All Might said while rubbing the back of his head.
"Meh, it's my fault." the Doctor said with a wave.
"As long as no one is in trouble. Now then. Say it," Mitsuki said with a smile.
"No," Katsuki said while looking away.
"Say it."
"Hell no."
"FUCKING SAY IT!"
"HELL NO!"
"SAY THANK YOU TO YOUR FRIEND!"
"WE'RE NOT FRIENDS!"
"OH YEAH? HOW COME YOU CALMED DOWN WHEN HE SHOWED UP TO SAVE YOU!"
"I WAS FINE!"
"MY ASS! YOU SCARED THE HEROES AWAY AND DESTROYED AN ENTIRE STREET! SAY IT!" she grabbed his hair and pulled it down so that he was sort of bowing.
"OW!"
"SAY IT!"
"FUCK! FINE!" she loosened her grasp.
"Well?"
"Shaknkyouforshaving-OW!" Mitsuki pulled his hair
"Like you mean it!"
"Um it's f-" Izuku was going to try to cut the apology short but Mitsuki cut him off.
"Shaddup." she said to Izuku who went stiff, then she looked back at Katsuki who looked furious and pulled his hair, "Say it!"
"Fuckin' thank you! ALRIGHT!"
"See? Wasn't hard," she said with a smile.
"Fricken old bat," Katsuki muttered before his mother got him in a chokehold with one arm and began to give him a nuggie. "Ow-ow-ow!"
"What was that you brat!"
"N-now now," All Might said trying to calm her down. "He's been through a lot today."
"Not till I'm done with him! Well later Izuku, tell your mother I said hi! I'd stay around but I left my oven on. Let's go!" She said still keeping Bakugo in a chokehold.
"Ow! Lemme go!"
"No. Behave," Mitsuki said while dragging him by the neck and giving him a nuggie.
"Well it's time for my rounds," the doctor said as he got up and walked out the door. He stopped and looked at Izuku. "I don't need an answer today, or even an answer at all. Just seriously think about it before you make a decision." With that, the doctor left.
Izuku didn't move from his stool. Could I really do that...just to be a hero?
"Hey kid," All Might said but in a weird voice. Izuku looked up to see the door closed and All Might in his original form. So it wasn't a weird voice it was his original, "...if you do decide you want to implant your mother's quirk, I can convince Recovery Girl to help. She owes me a favor. But like the doc said, think long and hard about your decision."
"AH, b-but why, why would you do that for me?"
"Honestly? You reminded me to put my money where my mouth is. I wasn't exactly livin' up to the ideals I spoke about earlier, it's time I change that. You're a good kid and your heart's in the right place. I know that whatever you chose to do, it'll be the right choice." With that said he left Izuku alone with his words to mull over.
Izuku was in his room. The sun had set and all he could do was lie in his bed and think about his choices in the dark while exhaustion finally kicked in.
This was his chance! It didn't matter that his power would be something like pulling small objects, he could make it work somehow! Plenty of heroes didn't exactly have All Might Level or even Endeavor Level powers. Heck, Eraserhead, the hero who erases quirks just uses his body and bandages to beat up groups of villains. Sure the power to erase quirks was a lot better than pulling plastic dolls or mugs towards you but at least it was something!
But then…
"Are you sure really want to put your mother through all that pain for something that would probably end up being cosmetic?"
The doctor's words ran through his head.
"...you don't need a quirk. No one does. It serves no purpose."
Everything the doctor said was true. Quirks in large part in society was more or less a party trick you can do or some tool you just have lying around that you almost never use. While some quirks can actually kill or harm someone, people really don't use it.
Some try to impress others with their quirks, some hope they could end up as a good candidate for a quirk marriage, others just become villains or vigilantes and use their quirks to their heart's content, but the vast majority of people don't actually use their quirks.
"You gonna do it, shithead?"
Would Izuku really do that? Could he willingly say yes to someone cutting his mother open just to get a quirk?
"You're a good kid and your heart's in the right place. I know that whatever you chose to do, it'll be the right choice." The words from All Might's true form echoed through his head.
Izuku knew already. From the back of his mind to the bottom of his heart, he knew the answer.
He couldn't do it.
Tears leaked out of his eyes as he hated himself.
He seriously contemplated having his own mother cut open just to gain powers. Hero or not, a decent human being shouldn't even think about doing that! And yet he did so, almost thinking of a way to justify it.
Disgusted by the thought of causing his own mother harm, he grinded his teeth together and squeezed his eyes shut tightly while his fist squeezed a bit tighter, as if all that would magically make it all better, or at the very least make him feel less guilty.
"IZUKU~" He heard his mother call out. "I'm almost done with dinner, can you set the table?" he heard her voice muffled by his door.
For a while he didn't do anything, he just relaxed. He sighed when felt calm.
"Izuku?"
"Comin'!" He finally said as he sat up and got off the bed
He walked to the kitchen to see his mother's back as she mumbled the tune of some song she like while checking on their supper.
He frowned and looked down while grabbing his right arm with his left.
"H-hey mom," he began.
"Yes sweetie?" Inko replied as she kept working on their supper.
"You...you know that operation?"
"Hm?"
"I," he gripped his arm tight, "I don't want it."
"Huh!" Inko turned her upper body slightly to get a good look at Izuku.
"I don't want it, not if you'll be in pain or if they have to cut you open. I don't want it. I...I don't need a quirk. I want to be a hero, but not if it involves harming the people I care about. All Might told me I couldn't be legal. He said I could be a good police officer, so he clearly thinks I could be a good hero. I could be hero in a bunch of other ways that don't involve having a quirk or fighting villains. Dad always thought that if I put the effort in I could make it into the support classes in UA and learn to create things that could make everyone's life easier. I...I don't need the operation…."
Inko stared at her a son for a bit before she turned to look at the food she was making. She let out a sigh before she turned the stove off. "Izuku," she began, "people don't change. Not really. You could grow old and grey but you would still be the same. You just become more you or less you, and in the end, it's still you."
Izuku really didn't know how to interpret that so he didn't say anything.
"That's why I know...no matter what...you'll always be a hero."
"Huh?" he looked up to see that his mother had turned around to face him with tears forming at the corner of her eyes, yet despite that she had a soft smile.
"Izuku, quirk or no quirk, you're still the kind sweet boy I brought into this world. You went out of your way to help someone despite the risks. Even if you don't become a hero, you'll still try to help others no matter the danger or the path you choose in life. That's why I want to give you my quirk. That way no matter what you do, you'll always have something to fall back on.."
"But...but mom..."
"Izuku...I'm, I'm sorRry," she trembled the word out as the tears finally started to fall. "B-back when you found out you were quirkless, I should have said it. I should have said it to you. Even, even All Might didn't say it to you."
"Ma-mom," Izuku trembled out, his body was shaking a bit as tears began to form.
"Izuku, you can be a hero," she said with a smile despite the tears leaking.
"Mom!" Izuku cried as tears streamed down his face. He hugged his mother as she put her arms around him and lightly rubbed his back. "I-I love you!" he cried.
"I love you too, sweetie," she said, "I love you so much."
The two Midoriyas cried as they hugged each other for a good few minutes that night. They came to a decision without any doubts in their hearts.
Four months later
"It came out really good this morning," Inko said in surprise as she ate her breakfast.
"Thanks, I learned from the best," Izuku beamed as he put his plates in the sink.
"Oh you," Inko waved her hand in embarrassment, "I'm not that good."
"No, I mean it! Nothing's better than your cooking, mom," Izuku said.
"Well if you say so," Inko said as she joyfully dug into her meal.
"Mom I going for a run, I'll do the dishes when I get back," Izuku said as he walked to the hallway.
"Izuku, I'm better now. You cooked our food, the least I can do is wash the plates."
"But mom-"
"No buts," Inko said cutting her son off, "you did well these past few months but I'm better now. I have to start taking care of things at home or my new quirk will be Couch Potato," she joked.
"W-well," Izuku began as he looked at his mom. She gained her weight back and was currently wearing a pink long-sleeved shirt, but he could still see the light surgical scar on her arms. "If, if you say so."
"I do say so. Besides I need to work my muscles too," she said lifting her covered right arm while placing her left hand on the becept and flexed while twitching a bit, no doubt due to the pain.
"Okay," Izuku said with a small smile, "I'll be right back."
"OH! Don't forget your water bottle!" Inko reminded him.
"Oh right," he turned and looked at the counter where his water bottle was at. He stretched his right arm out as if to grab it. He tensed the muscles in his arm and felt a familiar sting run through his muscles. He could sort of "feel" it. It was as if his hands had stretched out to reach the bottle. He tightened his muscles in his arms and hands to "grasp" the bottle and then quickly yanked his arm back.
The water bottle shot forward, flying straight into his hand. He relaxed his muscles as the bottle slapped into his hands. Inko smiled at her son.
"It's come along way, huh?"
"Yeah, but the doctors said that the stronger my muscles get, the faster and heavier objects I can pull. I'll be a hero for sure!"
"MM!" His mother nodded with a big smile, "I believe in you!"
Izuku flashed his mother a smile as he walked out of the apartment.
Once he locked the door he placed his back on the door let out a depressing sigh.
He wore a light turquoise tracksuit with a white line running through it. I pulled down the sleeve for his arms to see the light scars on his arms. They were still fading but a scar would still remain.
The operation was a success. They had grafted his mother's quirk and nerves onto his body and in order to help use it, they grafted in manner where he could "activate" the quirk by tensing his muscles. His body has no idea how to use it's new components so the doctors had to get creative. His quirk is, for the lack of a better phrase, is always on.
The first few weeks of recovery there was a stinging sensation in his arms that just wouldn't go away. In the end, he had to numb down with over the counter pain medicine.
After a while, it started to hurt less and less, but the pain was still sort of there, never disappearing completely. It was like a very light pinch to the skin. It was more annoying than painful. Not that he minded. Seeing his mother's scars or being unable to do anything always filled him with guilt. He felt he deserved the pain even if really didn't count as one.
From what the doctors described, they sort of "jailbroke" the quirk. Inko had a limit of small objects regardless of the weight, though weight did play a factor as well. Also, it had to be non-living objects. For Izuku however, since the quirk factor was interwoven with his muscles and was forced to always be "on," it ignored some of his mother's limitations.
He could pull bigger objects and living things, but weight was still a factor though he is able to surpass his mother's natural weight limit thanks to how the quirk factor was grafted. Now, he can't exactly pull a person, but he can pull a leg or an arm to throw them off balance if he times it right.
Izuku was still working on ways he could use his powers. It was slow but he could feel it. The stronger he got physically, the more his arms could lift, the stronger his "pull" would be. It made him both happy and said.
A single tear trailed down Izuku's cheek as he walked out to the sidewalk.
Mom, thank you for giving me this chance. He thought to himself as he stretched his body. He body was still skinny but he was more lean than thin. He was still hoping to build more muscles and he was willing to work himself to the bone to do it.
When he was done stretching he started running. Mom, you gave me this chance! He thought to himself as he picked up the pace!
"I believe in you!" His mother's words ran through his mind along with that smile. He grits his teeth as he let out a determined face with tears at the corners of his eyes.
I won't waste it! I'll get into you UA and I'll be a hero! I'LL BE A HERO!"
By this point, he was sprinting forward, running headlong into the future!
Author's note: Yeah I got a few ideas on how he could use the quirk flexibly.
Canon has nothing on the specifics of Inko's power so I made some stuff up with what was there and added my own twist to it.
I don't know why but I felt that Jailbreaking a quirk would be a fun thing to do.
Not a doctor nor do I claim to be particularly knowledgeable. I did the medical part as simple and as accurate as I can with something fictional and a few skimmed videos and journals about grafting tissue.
Well, night!
