Title: My Gifts
Chapter Name: My Cake
Pairings: JDJanitor
Rating: G
Description: The swapping of gifts is one of the greatest signs of affection.
There came a knock at Turk's front door, and JD couldn't help but wonder who would be visiting them at nine at night on a Sunday.

He lazily flipped through the channels and waited for Turk or Carla to answer the door.

The knocking became louder, but neither Carla nor Turk seemed to want to answer it, so JD groaned and got off the couch and walked over to the door.

When he opened said door, he was quite surprised. He leaned back on his heels and took the sight in, his lips curving downwards into an unpleased smile.

The Janitor quirked a brow and looked down at the doctor, "Happy Annive—"

"Oh God, who died?" JD intercepted and looked down at the brightly colored cake like it was about to jump him and eat his brains.

"W-What?" He mumbled, stepping into the apartment, "No one has died."

JD gapped slightly, "Well, than what's with the cake?"

"It's our five month anniversary!" The Janitor told him, still holding the cake, "So, ah, happy anniversary." He thrust the cake forward, the usual Janitor face on.

JD's thoughts fluttered. How could he have forgotten about their anniversary? He was in so much trouble!

He slipped on a goofy smile and took the cake, "Thanks," He muttered and walked over into the small kitchen and put it down on the counter.

He looked up quickly from the cake to see that Turk had come out of his room and was eyeing the cake eagerly, not really noticing the other man.

"Can Brown Bear have some cake?" JD asked, watching the larger man.

"Yeah, why not."

The best friends cheered together and Turk rushed over to the cake. JD cut it into pieces and quickly grabbed the plates and split the food between the three (Of course keeping a piece for Carla as well).

As the three men ate cake while watching the TV, JD continued to worry. But the cake was just so good that he started to forget.

"Happy Anniversary!" JD said with a full mouth of food.
