This is my first story in English, so this is more a test of my English skills than anything else.
I don´t know if there will be a second chapter. I want to write one but I have no ideas right now. So if you have any ideas how the meeting between Don and Charlie in the hospital will go, let me know and I will write a second chapter.

„Yes? "
Don was at the office when his phone rang.
It had been a lazy day so far and there was no big case to be solved. Even the paperwork was nearly finished.
"Agent Eppes?"
"Yeah?"
The FBI-agent didn´t recognize the voice.
"My name is Dr. Jonathan Greengras and I´m from St. Marks Memorial Hospital. It´s about your brother, Charlie."
Don panicked but then he tried to calm down.
Charlie was supposed to be at CalSci, teaching. He hadn´t been on any dangerous case and – as far as he knew – no criminal was after his little brother so he shouldn´t be in danger of being shot.
That meant Charlie had to have some kind of "Home accident".
The panic was back full force.
"Is he OK?"
"More or less, yes. I really do not know how he managed but he fell while he was teaching and somehow the blackboard fell on top of him. He has a minor concussion and a broken arm."
Don sighed in relief. That was less than he was used to from his brother.
The doctor however continued somewhat nervous.
"Now he wants to leave but I think it´s too dangerous with his concussion. I wanted to ask if you could probably convince your brother to stay at the hospital, at least for tonight."
The agent let out a soft laugh.
"It will be hard but I will immediately come over and try to talk some sense into Charles."
Dr. Greengras seemed relieved.
"Thank you, Agent Eppes. We will await your arrival.
They hang up and Don groped his jacket.
"Hey Granger, I have to go. Charlie got himself in trouble again and now he drives the nurses crazy."
Granger looked worried.
"Is he alright?"
"Yeah, just a minor concussion and a broken arm."
"Oh, good. Do you want me to fetch your dad?"
"No need. I will call him myself once I´m at the hospital. He is camping with Larry."
