Teddy and Tonks-Legs
We were sitting at the dinner table when Teddy came in. As he removed his thick raincoat, dad asked, "Why don't you take an umbrella instead of wearing that heavy thing?"
James sniggered behind his hand. I shot him a questioning glance, and he explained—rather, tried to explain between fits of laughter, "Because—he needs—both h-hands—for balance—or-or—he gets—T-Tonks-Legs!"
Everyone burst out laughing. I stood up and hugged Teddy around the middle. He laughed with everyone to hide his gloom, but in reality, his heart ached whenever someone compared him to his mother. He had never met her, never met his father either. I couldn't imagine a life without my parents, I couldn't dream to be in his place.
"Thanks, little sister," he whispered.
I looked up at him—he's so tall. "I love you, Teddy-bear," I told him.
"I love you too, Lily-flower!" he said, grinning. He picked me up and twirled me around—and everything was forgotten.
All was well.
