"Aw, Dean, I told you not to break anything before going in," moaned Sam as he struggled to get his casted brother out of the Impala.
"Did-n'ttt," Dean mumbled, his voice thick.
"Didn't what?"
"Break any-thing…"
"Right."
"…broke every-thing."
Sam couldn't help the small snort of a laugh between pants of effort. "Not quite everything. But two fingers, a wrist, an elbow, and a rib are plenty."
"F-f-forgot broken eardrum."
"Oh…yeah…the ruptured eardrum. That too. Dude, you're a mess."
"Yup. A mess. S-S-Sammy?"
"Yeah, Dean?"
"Mebbe next t-time you c-can tell meeee to break a leg. Like in theater…"
"Yeah…maybe."
