If you are looking for a book that's about happy endings and all things girly and weak, you're at the wrong place and there's still time for you to search up book #2 because this is the total opposite, but rest assure if you're the type who loves adventure and getting wet from the sight of a hero, you're at the right place, if you're that bold then stay. I've warned you! Its still not to late to read a book about a happy little Elf, but if you're that daring brace yourself for the hottest series of the century: Skarlet is the last of the Tarkantas and the girl can fly!
Chapter I : Skarlet
"Wow", I can't believe i'm actually happy for once , I mean if you're whole family and bloodline died in a brutal war why would you?
But I've learn to accept the past and move on, that's how I found a new joy and that's archery. I'm at at it everyday and night 24/7 it helps express my feelings in a way that no one or nothing can, that's why I love it so much! Anyway, I know you're probably wondering why my parents died and what is this so called Tarkanta and who am I exactly?
Well it all started at the Battle of Panthatar when my mother Queen Violete and my father King Chromos were killed. It was the type of thing where the forces of good and evil were head to head going at each other. Being ambassadors for the whole Outworld Kingdom, great excpectations were put against my family and I we were considered role models and was perfect at everything until I realized that almost everything that was said was almost a complete lie! Tarkantas are a type of monster that has 6 rows of very sharp teeth and could rip or tear through anything, I first realized I was a Tarkanta when i was 12 when some girls at my school provoked me for some odd reason and a side of me came out that I never knew was there. Minutes later I left the alley with blood dripping down my face and their left over skulls trailing behind. I thought at first that it was the most horrible thing that could ever happen to me but as I grew older i started to become more comfortable with it. Using it as self-defense and for eating of course. Also I have other uncommon traits. I have freakishly bright red hair that grows at my command so for instance if I were falling of a cliff my hair would grow long enough to pull me back up! And also it changes color due to my mood. Blue when cold, Red when hot or angry, Green when i'm outside, Black when i'm shy and quiet and Blonde when i'm in love. Its pretty neat! Ahhh, I forgot to mention my 2 most prized traits : Firstly I am a fire being so I can easily generate or channel fire into any part of my body. I remember once in training when I got mad for some odd reason and I crossed my arms and they caught on fire! That was hot except for my opponent was never able to face me. Lastly my favorite of all is the charm I have on men! Its my best one yet . My family has said to be the most beautiful of all in Outworld! Our warm hazel eyes are said to capture most people but i'm different my eyes are redder than blood that's how I got the name; Scarlet, the women in my family are know to be brilliant seductors because of their naughty acts but I haven't experienced that yet but I bet its fun! Wait! wait !wait! Hold up I forgot one important last thing, I can fly. My wings are as black sackcloth and they only appear when flight is needed.
