"Mufasa!!!!! Why did you have to die," sobs Simba. Simba is still crying when Kira, his daughter comes by. "Daddy, Grandpa Mufasa is dead! I know it's hard but you HAVE to accept it!" walks over to Simba, rolling her eyes along the way. Kira thinks, 'Geez, he's obsessed over some dead dude! And Kovu was lookin' mighty cute today *growl*' *sniffle from Simba* "I know honey, it's just *sniffle* I miss him so much," Simba starts crying hysterically again. "Aww Daddy!" says Kira sympathetically. She walks over and rubs her nose on his forehead. "It'll be ok. Me and mom will help you!" Simba replies tearfully, "Thanks hon. Let's go back now" They walk back with Simba looking up at the sky occasionally.

Kovu and Kira are walking and playing together. Suddenly, Rafiki appears. "Fancy seeing you here! What have you two lovebirds, erm lions, been up to?" Rafiki asks mischievously. Kira glares at him. "Nothing you nosy monkey! The mind you have. What are you doing with that powder stuff of yours anyway?" Kira questions. Rafiki replies a bit shaken, "I use it to contact dead people, namely Mufasa for you father."
"Uh huh. Contacting Mufasa. I can think of other things, but alas, this is a PG thing!" Kira says sarcastically, "But why are you here?" Rafiki laughs that annoying laugh of his. "I believe I asked you the same thing first!" Kovu finally says something, "well are you gonna teach us a lesson or something?" Rafiki laughs yet again, "How did you guess?" Kovu and Kira roll their eyes. Rafikileads them to a river and leaf boat. The song "Upendi" starts. Kira asks sarcastically "Upendi, that means LOOOOVE doesn't it?" Rafiki, "hahaha, you are right Kira-san, how did you guess? And all along I though I was clever!"
Kovu rolls his eyes, "Yah you're clever!" Rafiki pouts then walks away. Kira glances at Kovu, "we're alone now!" Kovu glances back. "yah we are. Let's dump this joint!" They both leave, running side by side into the horzion.
