Jennifer Jareau gripped her steering wheel tightly as she drove to the cemetery. Two years. 730 days. That's how long it's been since Emily Prentiss drew her final breath from this Earth. Ever since that day, JJ had never been the same. Emily's death hit everybody hard, but it seemed to hi JJ the hardest. She never returned to the BAU after that, it was just too much walking into work every day and seeing Emily's picture up on the wall of fallen agents.

After her funeral, JJ drove to the cemetery at least once a week to visit her grave, bringing new flowers each week. Roses, to be exact. JJ could sit there forever and talk to Emily's tombstone, she got used to talking to ghosts after her sister died. She just never imagined she'd be talking to her friend's ghost so soon.

However, today was different. The blonde not only had flowers, but her newborn daughter that she had given birth to only a week earlier.

"The doctors say she'll be here any day now, Em." JJ said, rubbing her stomach. "Will and I still haven't decided on a name. But the next time I visit, I'll be sure to bring her here."

JJ parked her car and got the stroller out of the trunk. She grabbed her daughter's carrier out of the backseat, she was fast asleep. JJ carefully put her into the stroller, as to not wake her up.

"There's someone very important I want you to meet." JJ whispered as she pushed the stroller towards Emily's grave and locked it into place.

"Em, it's me." JJ said, "I promised you the next time I visited that I would bring the newest addition of my family. So here she is!"

JJ looked at her sleeping daughter and then back at Emily's tombstone.

"I know everybody else has already visited you today. It's a sad day for us all." JJ said, tears beginning to form in her eyes. "I really can't believe it's been two years without you, Emily. To say I miss you is a huge understatement."

The ghost of Emily Prentiss stood behind her tombstone, "I miss you too, Jennifer"she said.

"But, today, I wanted to bring some positivity to you." JJ said, quickly wiping a few stray tears away and motioning to her daughter.

"So I want you to meet, Emily Roslyn LaMontagne." JJ said, "She's named after two of the most important people in my life."

Emily allowed a smile to spread across her face, as her ghost drifted over to the stroller.

"After she was born and I saw those big, beautiful brown eyes, I couldn't help but think of you." JJ said, tearing up again. "I wish you could be here, Em. You would love her so much."

"I'm right here, Jayje." Emily said, kissing the baby's forehead, "I'm always here."

"I hate to cut this visit so short but, Will and Henry are waiting for me at home." JJ said, as she placed a brand new boquet of roses on Emily's grave. "But, I'll be back soon."

Emily gently placed her hand on the blonde's shoulder, "I'll be waiting for you." she said, before gently kissing the blonde's forehead, sending chills throughout JJ's body."

"Sometimes, I doubt that you can even har anything I'm saying." JJ said, "But then stuff like that happens and I just know you're there."

JJ unlocked the stroller and walked to her car. Once her daughter was strapped in, she turned to face her friend's grave one more time. When Emily was still her, she would teach JJ French in her spare time.

"Je t'aime toujours, Emily." JJ said, (I love you forever, Emily) before getting in to the driver's seat. When she turned on the radio, the song Blackbird was playing. JJ couldn't help but let a small smile spread across her face, this was one of Emily's favorite songs.

"Je t'aime aussi, Jennifer." Emily said, (I love you too, Jennifer) as she watched JJ drive off. Once her car was out of sight, Emily walked back towards that familiar white light and faded away.
