Hey guys, I'm putting aside TTDC so I can try to focus on this story. (I know I overuse the name Shadow in my stories, but I AM Shadow for a reason.) I'll probably update every two weeks or so because I have school starting Tuesday and I want to still type some TTDC. Anyways, welcome to Team Shadow! I need at LEAST nine OC's. If you want to send in an OC, message me and I`ll send you the forum. This may not be that good, but that's because I accidentally deleted the original... (FAIL)

A nine year old girl was in a field with her older sister's Eevee as they picked some flowers for her birthday dinner. "Sammy's going to love these!"
"Eee!" Eevee agreed, nudging a patch of lilies. The girl grinned and picked a few from the bunch of lilies, then patted the Eevee's head. "I want a Pokemon like you when I grow up."
The girl plucked a few more beautiful flowers from the dew covered grass, then stood up. She smoothed out her blue sundress and adjusted her floppy sunhat, dressed like this because she hoped to be a Lady trainer when she grew up. "Okay, let's head back."
"Eevee!" Eevee interjected, sprinting across the field to a variety of flowers. The girl smiled gently. "Okay, one more."
"Cyrus," the woman growled, ushering her eleven year old daughter behind her. "What do you want?"
"To see your girls, of course," he said as innocently as he could. "And I hear it's Samantha's birthday, I wanted to say happy birthday."
"It's never 'just want to see your girls'," the woman spat. "Either you're going to try to take one of them or you're here to take some Pokemon."
"Jinnah, I just want to see Sammy," Cyrus tried to reason.
"Like how you wanted to see Risty?" Jinnah put a hand on her hip. "How is she?"
"She's doing fine," Cyrus replied. "But you get to see Sammy every day. I want to spend some time with her."
"Mom."
"What?" both adults asked, spinning to the young girl.
"Who is he?"
"He's a monster. He comes in and takes you girls because he can! I can't stop him. Although, if you don't want to-"
"Sammy, come with me and I'll show you a world of endless wonder. Even if you don't comply, I'm going to take you."
"Okay, Eevee. I think we have enough," The girl told the small fox creature. Eevee nodded and trotted alongside the girl as they made their way back to Twinleaf, picking a flower or two along the way. The small girl made her way into the town, waving at the townspeople with a warm smile.
"Hey Katiana!" a young boy yelled, calling over the girl. Katiana and Eevee turned to see Katiana's best friend waving her over. Katiana grinned and sprinted over, Eevee hot on her heel.
"Hey Josh!" Katiana greeted. "What's up?"
Josh's look became troubled. "I was passing by your house when I saw a man leaving with your sister and you mom was crying. Do you want me to go back with you?"
"Yeah," Katiana replied, grabbing his hand. The two (plus Eevee) sprinted back to Katiana's house where they found her weeping mother.
"Mommy?" Katiana asked, sitting next to her. "What happened? Where's Sammy?"
"Gone," she sobbed into her daughter's shoulder. "She's gone, Katia."
It may be a bit confusing right now, but it'll be cleared up in the next chapter (well not the Cyrus being able to take them part, that'll be explained as the story progresses)
