Po had just defeated Tai Lung and was holding him by the finger. Tai Lung winced in surprise. "The Wuxi finger-hold!"
"You know this hold?" Po asked smugly.
"You bluffing!" Tai Lung shouted desperately. "Shifu never tought you that!"
"Nope," said Po. Tai Lung sighed in relief. "I figured it out. Skadoosh!" Po dropped his pinky.
Tai Lung winced again and prepared for his death. As he felt his insides rumble, a memory came to him... 'I've met this panda before...' he thought to himself.
Tai Lung sat at a table in the noodle shop. He looked into his half-eaten bowl of soup, seeing his depressed reflection in the broth. "I... I can't believe Shifu would just betray me..." He felt a poke on his thigh and looked down to see a ten-year old panda smiling at him, carrying a wooden action figure of Tai Lung. The snow leapord sighed. "What do you want, kid?"
The panda enthusiastically spoke to him. "Hello, master Tai Lung! My name's Po! I'm a huge fan of yours!"
"Great. What do you want, an autograph?" Tai Lung asked impatiently.
"No sir. I just wanted to say that I appreciate everything you've done for the village! You're the strongest fighter in the history of Kung Fu!"
Tai Lung gave a proud smile, "I suppose that's true."
"Po, leave the man alone!" Mr. Ping, a goose ran up to Po and grabbed him by the arm. "Let him enjoy his meal. I'm sorry if my boy troubled you, master Tai Lung. I'll get you another bowl of noodles on the house."
Tai Lung smirked. "No, there's no need. Suddenly I'm full..." He rose from his table and ruffled Po's head with his paw. "You may want to stay indoors tonight, child. I think bandits may be coming..."
Later that night, Tai Lung sat in a hotel room. The proud snow leapord looked into the mirror and smiled. "What the kid said is right... I am the strongest! I deserve that scroll! And to show Shifu just how deserving I am, I'll wipe out the very village that no one else could!" He exited his room and stepped downstairs. He saw the hotel keeper standing at the desk.
"Master Tai Lung, I assume all is well?" asked the old female rabbit.
"Not quite..." Tai Lung said with a sadistic smirk. He kicked the elderly inn keeper with all his might, causing her to slam into the collection of fine wines behind her and killing her instantly. "But soon!" Tai Lung laughed evilly as he took his first life. "I really must thank that child!"
Tai Lung's flash back ended. He silently cursed the cruel irony that befell upon him. As his insides ruptured and he exploded, his dying thoughts were of regret...
