She flies at him, a relentless motion blur that halts only when she collides with his body.
"Kate," he starts. They have an audience at the busy scene.
She shakes her head vehemently. "Don't. Don't say anything. Just let me..." She clings, hands clutching him.
She pulls back, her eyes watery as they search his. "You saved Ryan's life."
He looks away. "He's got a little one to consider."
"So do you," she says fiercely.
He tries to soothe his wife. "Alexis is -"
"Not just Alexis."
Now he's the one staring, clinging. "Kate?"
"We're pregnant," she breathes in his ear.
