Hey peeps! This is my first Sailor Moon fic and my first romance fic. Woo hoo! It's kinda sappy... but hey, it sounded good at midnight when I wrote it! It takes place in the Moon Kingdom, so the characters are Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion rather than Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. I love the Moon Kingdom!! I wish I were there... Well anyway, enjoy! Expect more romance in the future 'cause I'm a sappy romantic at times.

True Love's First Kiss
Princess Serenity stared up into the night's darkness. She had stayed up late, waiting for her beloved prince, Prince Endymion. Ever since they had met, it seemed like a new part of her was blooming in her heart. She had never fallen so deeply in love before. When she was younger, she longed to share a kiss with one whom she loved truly and deeply, with one who shared those feelings with her. She still longed for that kiss. She and the prince had just met, and had not shared such elegant bliss before.
The princess looked into her mirror. Her reflection. Herself. Endymion had often told her of how beautiful she was. She smiled, gently. It was the same smile that had melted her prince's heart with desire. Serenity swiftly turned to the balcony as she heard a thump. Her heart jumped. She knew who it was.
"Endymion!" she whispered. She ran to the balcony and was held in the arms of her beloved. Tears formed in the corners of her eyes. Each tear that fell from her deep, blue, eyes was a droplet of emotion, showing her everlasting happiness. Endymion held her back.
"My, you get more beautiful every time I see you," he said. She smiled as a fresh set of tears fell from her eyes. Endymion wiped them away with an outstretched finger. He guided her to a rocking bench on the balcony. He held her in his arms, then looked at the stars. The Earth was full in the sky.
"The stars shine almost as brightly as your eyes," he whispered in her ear. She laughed softly, as she took his hand in hers.
"If you counted every star in the sky," she said, "I love you even more than that." she stared into his eyes.
"And if I were to count every star in the sky, I would do it only for you," he replied.
It was at that moment when they both knew what to do. They leaned toward each other, hearts beating softly. Thoughts and emotions raced through their heads. They then shared their first kiss. True love's first kiss. They wanted it to stay forever, but they both knew that it would not be their last. As they moved apart, they both shared one thing. True love. It was at that moment that Serenity realized that she had found the one that she wanted to be with forever. Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity, the very definition of true love.
