Chapter 1 The Tale Of The Girl Who Drowned
"My name is Izuku Midoriya. The story I'm about to tell is my high school experience so far. Exactly how quickly less than a month my life completely did a three-sixty. I met the good...the bad...and as well...friends? And even a murderer who lives next door to me. It all began in early September-"
"Ah!" After being push against the gate behind the school building, Midoriya collapses onto the ground.
"I warned you. Quit embarassing me in class!" As Midoriya puts both his arms up to brace himself on the incoming kick to the face, Bakugo swings his leg hard as he can. Before the teen was able to land a blow a voice shouted from behind the two of them.
"Bakugo!" The boy stops in his tracks and slowly turns around to see where the girly voice was coming from. A short haired brown girl waves her hand into the air and he then moves away from Midoriya. "What do you want!? Can't you see that I'm busy?" He shouted.
The girl runs over and sees Midoriya with his face looking down towards the ground. "I uh, your mother is in the school building looking for you." As the two teens look at each others eyes in silence, Midoriya bloody right hand turns into a fist. "I know you're lying, but I'll play along."
Bakugo puts his hands inside his pockets and before leaving spits on Midoriya. "See you tomorrow, nerd."
Once he was gone the girl gets on her knees and cups his face. "Let's go to the nurse, okay?" She says as she puts her arm around his neck.
"No! Let me go!" "Midoriya, you're hurt." "No! The hell-get off me!" She does what he says. "Since school started you've always babied me. I'm not a baby!" He gets up slowly and as he stands up he sees his friend, Ochaco Uraraka more clearly.
"I don't need your help okay? Besides, stay away from him. I don't want you to get hurt by him." With that the boy begins to walk away from his friend leaving her alone in the empty school field.

"Midoriya? Is that you?"
He closes the front door behind him and sees his mother standing in the middle of the living room with an apron on. "Oh my God!" She says when noticing the bruises on his face. "Is he hitting you again?" She then questioned with concern in her eyes.
Midoriya brushes his mother's hands away from his face. "We were just play fighting, that's all." A soft sigh leaves the woman's mouth as she enters the small kitchen. "Play fighting doesn't lead to really bad bruises." "That's because I was clumsy enough to hit my head on a rock."
The room grew silent for a couple of seconds until his mother went inside the kitchen and said, "Please go wash. Dinner will be ready in a few."
With that Midoriya rushes upstairs to his bedroom and once he gets in he notices his room clean. His bed was no longer not made, clothes weren't all over the floor, his desk was neat, and his room window was wide open. "It's cold in here…"
He walks over to his window and unlocks the lock. As he's doing this while feeling the chilly night breeze hitting his shirt across from him he sees a teenage blonde bun haired girl changing her shirt.
His heart begins to pump fast and hard.
"Shit," He muttered stepping away from the window quickly.
As if she heard something, the girl stops midway putting a white t-shirt on. She then looks at her window and notices a window across from her room.
Midoriya who was now on the floor in his room not believing he just seen slowly gets up and takes a couple deep breaths. He walks over to his window again while holding his breath.
The girl wasn't there.
He sighs as he shuts his window close.
A knock appears on her door. "Uraraka, dinner's ready." Mrs. Ochaco announce.
"Can you put it aside please mom? I'll come down right after I finish this math problem." "okay." Her mother says leaving her doorway and then closing it behind her.
Once Uraraka heard her mother's footsteps down the stairs she quickly pulled out her phone from under her math textbook and sees thirty text messages from a groupchat she's in.
Asida: She's probably hanging out with Midoriya.
Asui: Probably.
Jiro: …
Momo: Is something wrong?
Before typing into the groupchat, Uraraka turn around to look at her room door to make sure nor her mother and father were going to distract her.
Uraraka: He got mad at me...I just, I don't understand either. I saved him from Bakugo. Midoriya looked soooooo bad. :(((
Asida: No way, Bakugo and deku got into a fight again?
Asui: They're always fighting. Remember how last week they almost fought inside the classroom?
She puts her phone down on her textbook and then sits back in her chair. While looking up at the ceiling she thinks about no other of her pal, Midoriya.
She then sighs.
Midoriya...what's gotten into you?

"Here, put this on your eye." Midoriya lifts his head up from off the diner table and sees a can of coca cola waving in front of his face. Behind it was his two friends Todoroki and Lida.
He takes the drink from Todoroki's hand and places it softly on his left cheek where he'd been bruise.
"You have to start fighting back Midoriya." said Lida. He picks up a bottle of syrup and pours it on top of his pancakes. From the corner of Midoriya's eyes he sees Todoroki rolling his eyes while sipping his iced tea.
"I know, I know. It's just him and I were close friends...I wouldn't forgive myself if I hurt him." He says setting the can down on the table.
"Aren't you boys a bit too young to be out this late?" Said a woman holding a bunch of menus. The three boys looked up at her.
"Uh, I suppose you're right. We were just about to head out." Midoriya puts his hand in his pocket fumbling for his wallet but just as he was about to pull out a few dollars Lida beats him to it. "Hey, don't worry, I got it."
He throws a crisp twenty dollar on the table and the waitress takes it. "Keep the change." Lida added.
She smiles and walks away from the table, leaving the boys alone.
Todoroki gets up from his seat and stretches his arms. "I'm tired, we definitely should all head home."
"Y-Yeah, you're right. I need to head back before my mother founds out I'm not home."
With that the three of them exit the diner and as they were all heading in the same direction, they stumble across police tape, officers, and police cars. "What's going on?" Asked Midoriya.
"You kids need to find another route to go home." Said an officer who stood in front of the teens. Todoroki looks behind the officer and sees a little girl being carried. Her baby blue dress and blonde hair was soak and wet.
"Whoa, is that...a little girl?" inquired Lida. As the boys took a step closer to get a better look on what's going on the officer extends his arms out to his side. "You guys have to leave now!" he yelled.
"Where was she?" An officer asked. "Looks like she drowned in the river." Answered another officer. "Someone must've tossed her in there."
What? Thought Midoriya.
