The Nature of Shrek
A romanticism poem about Shrek
By: Elijah W. Gardy
O how I admire Shrek
So free and loved
Living off the land, doing as he sees fit
No hate is to be found in his heart
O how I adore Shrek so
With his toothy smile
And his big brown eyes, like a child's
His large hands, worn from his work
But manage to be silky smooth still
O how I love Shrek
He is what I can only hope to be
Free and loved
