Nessie and Jake are taking Quil and Claire to a parade before they get candy.
Halloween Parade!
It was the day of our Halloween parade and trick or treating was on Quil's fall bucket list so Jake and I asked Claire if she wanted to come along. Quil knew Jake hates Halloween parade. Yes it's my favorite time of the year. Since my parents moved away from us.
I remember one Halloween night Jake and I pranked my mom by telling her I was lying on the street and when My mom came over I jumped up and gave her a scare.
Anyway back to the present day, the kiddos were getting their costume on while Jake and I were waiting for them.
We didn't know what was taking them a long time to get there costume on, so I went to see what was taking them a long time- when I got to the room I saw Quil trying to French kiss Claire. I yelled what the hell! Quil quickly turned around and look at me.
He mumbled sorry Nessie and headed to the stairs. Claire looked confused and started to cry. I whispered it's okay, he won't try it again.
As we all were headed to the parade, Claire was holding on to me and Quil trying to make a move on her. I heard Jake telling him to cut it out or no trick or treating. I always thought Quil was a troubled young boy.
After the parade we did took the kids out to get candy. It turns out Quil asked Claire to be his girlfriend and they became girlfriend and boyfriend after all. And Jake finally like Halloween, and at the end of the night he proposed to me- on my favorite time of the year; Halloween!
